And when Thing feels Lizard on his back, he reaches around, grabs him, and slams him through a couple feet of Concrete, basically how Hulk does to Wolverine on a daily basis.
I'm not saying he can't do it, I'm just saying the possibility of him doing it successfully and not getting wrecked in the process is very slim.
What? Hulk's skin is flexible. Thing's hide? Not so much.
Here Blade rides on Grimm's back. Notice that he had the time to casually lay a hand on his head. Lizard's faster than Blade.

Well, when he feels impact on his rock, he'll automatically reach up to swat Liz away or grab him. I'm not sure who'll hit first, but one of them will end up seriously injured, Lizard more than likely because of the small uncovered area that is Ben's eyes, compared with the rest of his face. And from the way he looks, hitting his eyes from behind him and on his back is not easy.
Yep. One of them would end up seriously injured.
Lizzy can regenerate. Ben can't. Let's say that Ben would break his spine. What do you think would happen next? Would Thing just keep on beating ol' Lizzy? No. That's not in his character, he's not a sadist. He'd just walk away. And that wouldn't be a wise move, tbh.
1) He's taken a lot of punishment and didn't fade out.
2) Average person can recover from a knockout in a few minutes. How much time would it take to regenerate the whole limb (assuming we could regenerate)? Decades. More perhaps. Well, Lizzy can do it in seconds, literally. So it's no wonder if he could recover from a "one hit k.o." in a split second, Wolverine style. KOs lasting that ridiculously short don't count as a win. It would take more than just one punch to put him down.
