Then you'll always be ignorant when it comes to Scott and you'll continue to think he's a boring, dry and emotionless character due to laziness. He's had it worse than DP and he has more character and depth.

about 20 mins or so. most of it was from memory.

nope, i hate kid appeals, hence the x-men movies pissing me off at wolverine quite a bit

What does this mean? You don't read because of kids?

😂

seriously, though, disliking cyclops is good when you have valid reasons, but you can't hate a character based on your initial impression of them or some movie that you might have seen (unless they're strictly a movie character).

I have a thing for heroes that are powerful, but under-appreciated.

nope, i just hate most characters that were created to be popular, unless they strike me as actually good or interesting characters, which scott just doens't, he was orphanned, big woop, my mom probally has more tragedy in her life, but ahwell, i also don't consider somebody to be a true orphan when their dad is still alive, although i think he's dead now..not sure, is he?

i've dislike cyclops long before the movies, he was okay in them but rediculously holow character in them

on that i agree. so why do you hate him then?

at the time, scott believed he was an orphan. he didn't find out that he wasn't until he was a grown man. has your mom lost the same spouse three times, another once, and a child of her own was taken from her so that it wouldn't die? was she emotionally abused by a shapeshifter that basically was every different person in her life? does she have a superpower that can kill even when she doesn't want it to?

i doubt it. 😛

what do you mean "made to be popular"

Scott was not made to be popular and if you weren't lazy and read the rest you'd understand that there was more to him than just being orphaned. EH, just give up because you're not making yourself look very intelligent to be somewhat brutally honest.

Proof that Scott wasn't made to be popular.

He barely makes the list when there are Marvel games like Ultimate Alliance, he doesn't have his own game, he doesn't have his own comic, he doesn't appear in 5 comics a month, there aren't any Cyclops costumes for kids that I know of, he doesn't have his own movie or animated movies (Wolverine VS), he doesn't go around beating top tier characters and then struggles to beat someone way weaker.

when writers create a specific character with them being everones favourite in mind, or made to appeal to kiddies, bumblebee, and hot shot are two examples.

dude there was a reason it was hulk vs. wolverine, hulk was his first appearence, but seriously stop trying to change my oppinion, i don't care what you think of him, if he's your favourite, don't care, he's far from my favourite, have the intellegence to not try to make me think the way you do, greater people than you have tried, all have failed

scott was never that. at all.

Eh, you really need to get your facts straight. If you hate characters that were made to be popular, then you need to find some new favorite characters.

So you mean Wolverine?

I'm sorry, but how do you know this if you don't read? Nothing about Cyclops' design or powers reach out to children. I know when I was kid the main powers I wanted were flight and super strength. I never wanted to shoot beams out of my eyes. Most of Scott's team doesn't really like him, but they have respect for him. I'm going to put my next point in my next post in case you lose interest in this one and stop reading.

Wolverine respects Scott and as Raoul said, he said himself that "He'd follow him to hell and back with no questions asked." It's funny how you say you don't like characters who are supposed to be loved by everyone, but your two faves that you expressed are Wolverine and Deadpool....
