That'd be a lot funnier if the person that made it wasn't an illiterate fool.

He' not illiterate.

Pooh is, the writer just captured that in his writing. Man got skills.

It's all media fear-mongering. Remember SARS and the avian flu? They were big headlines one day, and yesterday's news the next. In a few weeks the swine flu will be a faint memory.

Or hundreds of thousands of people will be dead.

If this takes 500 001 people's lives this year, I'll accept the fear mongering as necessary, otherwise it is just a total loser compared to common flus each year.

36,000 people die every year of normal flu in the US...not far off 100 per day...there's already been 122 days this year...death toll so far in the US?....1...and even that was a Mexican who'd crossed the border...in the same time for normal flu...around 12,000

I really don't think it's as bad as is being made out.

I think the flu kills in a very specific time frame each year, but in essence that's what I wanted to say with my post.

Also that one death in the US, I believe it was a 23 month old baby, I mean...come on...babies die all the time...if it takes Chuck Norris, then we can be scared.

According to the CDC's modelling and science daily, it's accurate.

The World Health Organisation also say that there's about 400,000 deaths a year in developed countries alone from normal flu.

Man, I never would have guessed it that high.

Out of six billion+, its a drop in the bucket.

I did get a good laugh today as I saw a woman on the street freaking out while talking to her friend about the Swine Flu. She was saying how afraid she is she will catch it and it could kill her..as shes lighting a cigarette.

It's also mostly old and weakened people that die, I believe.
