The video is wrong on several points...The main one being Swine flu IS H1N1...it IS the same virus as the 1918 pandemic and so humans do actually have a degree of immunity to it.

He's right that a virus pandemic will eventually cause a massive death toll that will be emphasised greatly in the age of global travel...It just wont be this pandemic.

Looks like it was blown out of proportion as other things have done in the past. remember the Millennium bug which was supposed to wreck all computers🙂

But from what I understand the main threat is the coming winter, when the virus will become more active and have a field day.

Technically the virus doesn't become more active. It's just that people tend to be in situations where it spreads easier...instead of being outside like in the summer when it's sunny and warm, they tend to do indoor activities where the enclosed space means it's easier to catch it from someone who's infected.

Places like cinemas are the main type of thing that makes the virus spread...So if you're going to see any movies later in the year then make sure you go to a really early or late showing....Otherwise you'll be putting your life in danger
