Thor still had access to the Odin power has demonstrated on panel, his durability, strength, ability to channel lightning, etc. Was he at full power? No. But he was well above his normal High herald levels. The point is that Thor at Trans+ levels (with necklace on) was able to be hurt, maimed, and nearly killed by Captain America, Wolverine, Hulk and the Thing.
Wolverine maimed King Thor when he was at full power, KT's durability is far below Supermans.
Superman who is operating above multiversal abstract levels, would utterly annihilate RKT who was not that much greater than Odin.

This guy can't even lift 500lbs
and yet he can't die, Death can't touch em:
Point is, you don't have to be all powerful or powerful at all to be in this position.
Perhaps in DC it's a big deal that only the likes of Superman can enjoy.

There are several other cats who are truly "immortal." What's so special about this?
Mr.Master I know your mind has difficulty in comprehending complex concepts, and abstract forms of contemplation but being untouchable by death does not make one "abstract".
Allow me to explain for you my young, still growing, learning friend that Superman is a multi-megaversal abstract because he is the concept of story made manifest. Superman is the Concept and abstract idea of all stories, heroes, and the never ending concept of real world "hope". It is because of this that death cannot touch him for the abstract of death is so far beneath superman, that it along with all abstracts and concepts are his to command within the story.
I am always happy to help you learn M&M =)

On the contrary, Strange tiedy to depower KT, yet he had enough power to kill Hulk and Thing, regular Thor always failed against Hulk.
Also Wolverine was able to cut off KT Arm, hurt him. WoW, simple adamantium is enoug to kill full power KT and CA is enough to kill slightly depowered KT?

Finally a true debater is here to bring enlightment. So my knowledgeable Friend, those old gods RKT faced, what feats do they have, do you know this by chance?
Lucky KT even with his powers slightly dimished didn't had to face Wolverine again, he wouldn't hesitate like CA did with the killing blow.

No offense, but didn't read the rest of your Superman philosophy.

Your inability to read my post is your own shortcoming, I outlined clearly how being untouchable by death does not make one abstract but rather he is untouchable by death because he is above all concepts/abstracts.
One day you will be able to understand complex reasoning.
