No, as I ALREADY said, I'm arguing that SHIELD's files were not as up to date as Stilt assumed, and clearly they must not have been if Telepathy wasn't in the game plan.

Whether Gorgon was stronger after his resurrection, the SHIELD files were in error, or he's a chi amper... OR by sheer skill alone, he was definitely hitting Wolverine with punches and strikes like a mac truck. So I would think he was hitting with more than 2 tons of force by an assload.

Right, so him ****ing up Wolverine isnt because of class 2 (edit strength upgrade) strength but skill, got it.

It should be noted that he attacked him both physically and mentally.
I.... guess... I'm not really sure that explains Wolverine FUBR physical state after getting slugged out by Gorgon though. 😕

It looks like he's biting down on it and using his arms to brace it.
If he used his teeth it would have broke close to his mouth I would think.

Ooooorrrrr a combination of both, since he can't rely have one without the other... nice logic though as always....

Dunno about that. i mean i that's the rationale why didn't it break closer to his hands?

Because he used his mouth to brace it then bent the sword and it bent and broke at the stress point which is about half way down the blade on both sides. If he shattered it with his mouth it would have broke right where his mouth is.

That's an absoulutely fair and valid point... I've just been at odds with his class ranking vs. his performance... and was Millar even going by 1 ton = class 1 rating or something else?

IMO he just meant that Gorgon can military press no more than two tons under optimal conditions.

That rating system wouldn't go with that, as there is no "Class 2".

By the way, according to the handbook, Gorgon is somewhere in 800 Ibs - 25 tons range. 4/7. Class 2 would be okay.

Ermm thats what I meant dummie, obvoulsy you cant throw a pucnh without using some strength.

Oh and what I meant to say was.....you're saying its due to skill not strength upgrade (in other words skill is the main factor)?

I just went and looked at Gorgon's bio in All-New Marvel Handbook Hardcover vol. #4 and it states Gorgon can lift a little less than a ton.

It's not half way down on both sides.. 😕

it's closer to his teeth on either sides of his mouth.. but hey, it's your logic.

He complained about his liver and left lung. Both of them were pierced by Gorgon's sword, weren't they?

I said about halfway. Gorgon didn't break the blade with his teeth.

Can you go one god damned day without being a complete asswipe?

You said because of skill "not" strength....

And, it's spelled "dummy" you friggin retard.

I'm saying that Gorgon was hitting Wolverine with what looked to be more than 2 tons of force and that there could be multiple explanations for why.

Yeah but I'm talking about his swollen face and head in a crater of concrete.

Look I could be wrong, but those punches looked devistating and definitely not consistent with how Wolverine reacts to class 10 punches much less class 2.

At any rate I'd still assume it's safe to say Elektra's beating from him heavily outweighs that of the 3 punches Punisher took from U.S. Agent.

No it's not, your logic fails.

Now I realize you have superior logic to anybody on the planet. But are you saying that Gorgon shattered that blade with his teeth while he was holding with his hands?

As I already said, it looks like he bit down on the sword and it broke. Your logic to the stress points of the fractures in the sword needs to take into account that the sword broke closer to his mouth on both sides than his hands by a ratio of 2/1 on the right and even more than that on the left. 😬

Normal human dislocated Logan's jaw before. Just saying.

Sure they did. IMO his blows were that formidable because of his incredible skill.

I agree.
