I find Sephiroth to be the better villain than Ganandorf.

...Blasphemer 😐 Sephiroth's ... well really contrived, kind of effeminate, and just generally generic. He'd make an alright mook.

You're the blasphemer. Give me a reason why Ganandorf is better than the mighty Sephiroth.

He's not a bishonen.

Edit; Learn to spell Ganondorf before you get Gannon banned.

Zant can teleport himself and people, yeah I admit. But it is once again a slow portal.

o rly?

YouTube video

at about 5:15 you get to the castle fight and you see Zant attack and teleport, attack and teleport. He teleports pretty darn fast, I'm gonna guess that either Midna can't teleport things quickly, OR they do the slow teleport just for effect.

Or Zant's power comes from Ganon, and is superior to Midna's <.<

I know Zant teleports quickly, I meant he did so to others slowly, typo.

Looks like that character at 5:00 teleported himself and Link.

1. Right, he obviously gained no power from becoming God of War. Hell, I bet that Kratos has ALWAYS been able to grow 500+ feet tall and just chose not to before receiving the title of God of War, because it is only a title, could not possibly come with the power of the being the title represents. 😬

2. ...Is your reading comprehension seriously this shitty? Read my post again.

1. Him growing large does not mean he gains Ares previous powers, all Gods can grow large.

2. No I read it fine, and answered it fine....you tried to debate Physical strength and powers of thought= instant thought that disintegrates vines...

1. Why can he grow large? With the power of the God of War. The same power Ares once wielded. Ares' power comes from being God of War. Kratos is God of War. Why would he not have the same powers?

2. Nope. Read it again.

1. False, Ares power may come from being a God, but so does Zeus, so does Hades, so does Poseidon, but they dont all have exactley the same powers, Kratos gains Godhood, true, Kratos gains power, true, Kratos gains the title of God of war....true, but nothing states he gains the same powers, or has the same powers as Ares.

2. "shrug" ive read it several times, you must have been unclear.

1. True. Why is that? They are the Gods of different things. As God of the dead Hades has powers involving death and souls. Zeus' powers are of lightning and the sky in general. Poseidon's are of the sea. Ares' powers are the powers of the God of War. Kratos then became God of War. God of War is not a title, it is power over the concept of War. If Kratos became God of the Dead like Hades, he would have the power of Hades. Your logic is crap, both get their powers from being the God of War, their powers are the same.

2. No, your reading comprehension is just no what I would call that great.

1. Rubbish, its a title, nothing states otherwise, the fact those Gods have powers over particulour things is neither here nor there, and Poseidon used lightning so that blows your argument to bits anyway, its obvious their powers are the powers of Gods, TKing enemies across a battlefield is nothing to do with war, their Gods of concepts but their powers are from being Gods in general, nothing states Kratos would gain the ability to do what Ares did unless you think the next God of war if there be one would also gain all the other Gods powers like Kratos had? Poseidons rage, Hades souls, they can have eachothers powers and other powes in general so claiming all of Ares powers simply because he was the God of war, and not jut because he was a God in general is not only redundant but an outright assumption/guess.

2. lies and nonsense

maybe some of there powers (like being able to grow 500+ feet tall) are general powers that all gods get when they reach godhood, but then again dj does make sense by saying that the god of war does get his own unique set of powers.

They're probably 100-200 feet. But maybe you're right k1Lla. But...Zeus didn't just gain lighting.

Off-topic: The God of War III demo was ****ING INCREDIBLE.

Maybe he does have some unique powers, but until Kratos actually uses TK to destroy armies, or until its even implied or stated then he has the powers he has shown, its too far to assume TKing armies to death is even a power aligned with any concept, certainly not War. Its obvious the Gods have many powers, e.g. size control that all of them have and its obvious their alignments are not the only powes they possess, e.g. Poseidon's lightning.

The current Gods in GOW are too ambiguous to assume that they dont already have said powers, or were blessed with their powers separately, assuming just because their the god of a certain concept does not mean they have every power of that concept, nor does it mean their powers consist solely of that concept.

Edit

Why didn't he just "burn" the army that was fighting the Spartans?

Then there wouldn't be a war.

And?

Theres no point in asking why he did not do something, when hes never done it before or even been implied to have that power.
