Except I get the impression that Spartans are not just anyone. The UNSC builds up Spartans into mythic proportions. Even if not everyone goes out in a blaze of glory, Spartans are certainly intended, trained, and equipped to.
Well technically, unlike Spartan-II's, Spartan-III's were trained and designed to have a lower life expectancy than II's, they're basically mass produced Master Chiefs.
I do feel that they were trying to show that horrors of war thing, I just think they didn't do a very good job; kind of like how Epic tried to convey emotion by showing the scene with Dom finding his wife in Gears of War 2. It was technically a sad scene that you should be able to sympathize with Dom about, but.... c'mon, no one really felt bad after watching that.
I think they rather useless. To get to them u have to pretty much get through the 3-5 f*ing elites/zealots guarding the gunner. In legendary thats no fun at all.
I'm down to 1 achievement, to become Lt.Colonel and buy something. I like the game but I think im getting bored. I try getting the challenges for the day and after that play a few games and thats it. Its like theres no purpose. Anybody knows whats the highest ranking?

Oh I wasn't talking about those DMRs inside the warehouse leading to the cannon. The ones I found are outside so they can be used to fight off the brutes.
Lt. Colonel Grade 3 is the highest rank at the moment. By the way I think you're starting to get bored of the game because you have been playing quite a lot unless you farmed your way to Lt. Colonel.

Hmmm I got it check that location then.
I'm not Lt.Colonel. I'm about to be Captain grade 2. I just dont find multiplayer as exciting as Halo 3 or MW2. The maps get repetitive and I hate the fack that whenever Infection shows up, more than half of the people jump on it. Its ok to play but I dont wanna do it 5-6 times in a row.

I don't play Rumble Pit which is why I haven't encountered the infection problem. I think most kids vote for it to have an easy way of getting the killtacular for Jorge's avatar helmet. Instead I play every team game where SWAT is...and it just sucks. I love SWAT but playing against noobs that think they are good 2-3 times in a row is boooring. Going TS with a team should get rid of the SWAT/Snipers voting issues.
Been playing Invasion lately and it is a lot of fun when you have a competent team, but then again every team game is fun when you have an actual team and not just radoms. Problem with the maps is that they are few and they get split in different playlists. Thankfully Bungie has always kept its game fresh with new playlists and gametypes. I can't wait until they incorporate players custom forgemaps for matchmaking. That right there is going to be great.
