I'll probably stop playing as much once I get to Lt. Colonel grade 3 since they don't let you rank-up after that online. Best to wait 'till more of the ranks become available before you max out more of your accommodations. Otherwise the credits you get from it will go to waste.
Currently at Major grade 2 btw. I hear Major grade 3 is a pain in the ass to get past like Warrant Officer grade 3 was. Oh boi.

Same here as well. I was thinking the lack of extra ranks will probably mean that by the time the add more ranks, everyone will more than likely be a Lt.Colonel.

Also, am I the only one who finds it funny how you can be rewarded in Firefight for doing basically nothing? (as in standing there and not killing the whole time) Like last night when I was in a friend's game party, I eventually fell asleep on the couch with my 360 headset on (lol) around 2:00 or 3:00 AM in the morning when I was playing (guess I was just out of it), and when I woke up some hours later, I saw that I had ranked up. xD Usually get around 500 or 800 credits at the end of the match even if I'm not doing anything. Does Bungie condone this horrible lazy way of boosting or what?

Im doing that on purpose now. I need 10 more Firefight games for the weekly challenge. I figure I leave the game running, switch the channel and watch some good tv. Ill check it in an hour.
