Halo Reach

I'd love to see an over the shoulder style Halo, I think it'd be kinda rad. Has there been any 'real' news of what's next for Halo? I just now barely got into it after years of drooling.

So, Bungie is just shamelessly raping us aren't they? I know we're supposed to be used to the DLC buttsecs by now, but, geeze. 800 for 3 maps just seems so... lame.

dude its halo:reach you cant just pay a little bit for it plus i think its worth it!

I don't ever buy the DLC maps for games

Then you won't be able to play the matchmaking eventually.

Anyways, I do buy the DLC eventually. But the thing is the reason I buy it is because I like having the Spartan look how I want it to so I need a higher rank and sense the easiest way tends to be matchmaking. Halo has always had it just like every other game where you pretty much NEED the DLC to play most matchmaking games. 800 is expensive but that's how it was for Fallout 3 DLC. Just wait, Halo Reach will eventually come out with a disk just like Halo 3: ODST did where you can get them all at once for a shitty storyline. It'll either be just the DLC or bungie will have lied lol. Only reason I say that is because other people keep trying to say Bungie is bulling us.

except that Fallout 3 had TONS of content, it wasn't a few maps.

Anyway, I still play CoD without buying one single map pack, I'm sure I'll be ok with not buying them for Halo

What? To this day I have never bought any of the DLC for Halo 3... the only games you can't play are like, the ranked ones and shit. You can still play Ground War and stuff.

But the Ranked ones are fun sense it gives you a secondary goal to strive for.

Only Halo 3 had the stupid playlist restrictions. I think m$ had a lot to do with that. I remember when Halo 2's maps came out. You had to pay for them if you wanted to enjoy them before the rest of the community, but they eventually became free for everone.

It is more of microsoft forcing their way into our wallets. Another example is that Bungie never wanted to charge full price for ODST but when M$ saw the ammount of stuff their were giving away they went "LoL ye can't just charge 30 thatz dumb. Lets charge full price. Kiddiez and fanboys will buy it anyway" . I think crap like that is one of the reasons Bungie was eager to split with M$.

Just a few maps that I will play dozens if not hundreds of times, so I'm cool with it. Bioware is a hell of a lot worse. lol.

Shame though because the maps are actually very fkn good. And the more the merrier.

I bought them, played for about an hour. They're... alright I guess. I'm not surprised that a tourny-f*g like SBP likes them. uhuh

They feel just a little too generic for me though, personally.

Anchor 9 is el awesome and Tempest reminds me of Narrows from Halo 3(which I fricking loved) Breakpoint is cool in that there are a lot of vehicles, power weapons and I like the cave thing linking the 2 sides. Got me some ambush kills with it =D

There are too many armor lock users. Couple days ago, me and Zack Fair suffered greatly on Hemmorhage in Big Team Slayer. Friggin noobs.

Sure it's useful but is it necessary for literally every opposing team member to use it?

I knew that thing would be spammed to no end the day I first learned about it. There's even an achievement with it from yesterday's DLC now too, so yeah. But destroying Ghosts and Banshees with AL is pretty enjoyable, I must admit, though it hardly does anything to the warthogs, let alone a speeding Wraith. Of course, we don't need it anymore broken than it already is.

SBP, your character looks like he's on steroids with the armor he's got on.

Wished I had known that before trying the achievement. Kept getting pissed when the speeding warthogs would just flip over me.
