When I'm bored and spacing out at work, I often wonder what I'd do if such a thing happened.
First thing I'd do if it were possible would be call everyone I know and let them know what the hell is going on. If things aren't too bad at this point, I'd go to Canadian Tire and grab a couple rifles, shitloads of ammo, axes, sledge hammers, anything that could be used as a weapon. If I had time, I'd stop at a store to grab more water and food, then I'd get home, barricade the windows and doors, set up a few molotov cocktails to toss from the second floor windows, and hope for the best.

For me, I would just run into the nearest gun store, build up a barricade, and if a zombie broke in I would shoot it.
I would start by grabbing one of the swords hanging on the wall of my bedroom (and maybe a few for friends) jump in the car, pick up a couple of specific friends, collect some guns (from Wal*Mart, Pawn shops, etc.) and we would fight our way up to Ohio. When there I would meet my Marine buddy, then ride out the Zombie Apocalypse as best we can by barricading ourselves up at night, with people taking different watches through the night and sound the alarm if Zombies start breaking in, then travel by day, scavving food, ammo, and more weapons, while trying to find a way to put an end to the nightmare.
