I had fond memories of those back in the early eighties.
(Mind you, you were a bit older than me back then)

Yes, age can make or break a series like that. I loved The Muppet Show and even Bert & Ernie from Sesame Street. Fraggle Rock was .... well, a bt like the Clone Wars series for a Star Wars fan...

The Fraggles had a catchy theme tune though. (Not that the others you mention didn't...)
