Indiana Jones 5

Ha. I want them to return to glory.

Now Lucas has handed over company control to Kathleen Kennedy, this might be able to allow him full time spent on his projects, making them good, rather than having to make films with one hand tied behind his back.

Like when Tony Stark handed over the keys to Pepper Potts in IM2..

I won't feel good about any of George's properties until he is hauled off to the old timers looney bin.

Then I will feel safe to go see one of his movies again.

LOL

Allright... I guess.

Out of interest, how do people feel about producer Frank Marshall's comments earlier this year that there will likely be no "Indiana Jones V"? "KOTCS" certainly divided opinion (to put it mildly!), and so I know that at least some people were hoping for one final film in order to end the series on a high note.

Personally, I'm still very much in two minds about this. "KOTCS" was not without its (major) flaws, but it at least left the character of Indy in a good place - married, and with a new son to carry on his adventures. I shall wait and see what happens - with Lucasfilm now having been sold to Disney, I guess that all bets are off; after all, until a few months ago, who would've ever thought there'd be a "Star Wars: Episode VII" one day 😉 ... ?

Maybe its not gonna one to carry the Indiana Jones title.. but the maybe instead the first to be titled Mutt Jones..?

Indy needs to take on Cthulhu himself if the series is to continue.

They may indeed have to reboot if the old deal is on: that all three filmmakers (Lucas, Spielberg and Ford) have to agree. In the case of Indy old style, Disney owning rights doesn't mean they can make this trio work again.

Hmm.

Yeah, he's too old.

The Indiana Jones franchise is an entertainment franchise, based on the adventures of Dr. Henry "Indiana" Jones, a fictional archaeologist. It began in 1981 with the film Raiders of the Lost Ark. A prequel, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, followed in 1984 and the sequel Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989. In 1992, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, featuring adventures the character had as a child as he traveled around the world with his father, began airing on television. A fourth film, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, was released in 2008. The series was created by George Lucas; the films star Harrison Ford and were directed by Steven Spielberg.

Wow... that's information none of us were really aware of at all. Thank you so much for sharing this intel with us.
