That's fine. I understand where you are coming from and I've said this too.

IMHO, Namor/Wonderman/Thing/and a few others I can't recall right now are in a tier just below true heralds in terms of power. They are all peers but I just think based on on panel evidence Namor is the King of that Tier.

Can other people in that tier take wins from him? Yes? The majority? IMHO, no.

Somebody mentioned that Simon recently got whipped by the grey Hulk. Seriously? There is just absolutely no consistency with this character.

While I think Wonder Man was generally the stronger and more powerful, I think as a character he has two problems: first, his pacifistic personality and lack of confidence has always been a hinderance in fights, leading him to struggle even when he is more powerful than his opponent. While he was supposed to be almost as strong as Thor and IMO above guys like Thing and Subby, he lacked a fighter's instincts which means he isn't as formidable as he could be. And ever since the 80s his personality has been all over the place as different writers tried different things.

Second, ever since the 90s especially, his power levels have also been all over the place. Ever since his power changes like gaining flight, full energy being form, confidence affecting powers etc were introduced there has been no consistency with the guy. One minute he's beating Hulk level guys, the next he's getting chumped by Green Goblin types, then he's back to chokeholding Rulk or whatever. I can't judge him anymore.

Classic Wonder Man? I'd give him the win after a tough fight. 90s Wonder Man at his best? I give him a majority too. Recent years? Unsure.

Hulk didn't just beat him...he was overpowered and then one shot koed by Grey Hulk.

People sleep on Grey Hulk but if you look into his fights/feats, he's actually one of the more impressive versions of the Hulk character.

His only "wtf moment" was his fight with Pineapple Thing.

Has Namor fought Hulk since 1990? Most of their fights are from back in the day, just like to see some modern ones.

They had one fight during a team battle (Defenders) but it wasn't a serious fight imo. More of a 'get out of Hulks way' fight. The last time Namor was asked to fight Hulk, he backed down stating that Hulk was too powerful but that was WWH. It would be amazing to see a fight against the two since Namor does well against high end opponents. This is the last showing of the two I can remember unless someone like ODG etc know of something else.

He had a scuffle against Nul with the backing of the defenders but that wasn't a fight either. So no, they haven't fought to my recollection.
