The fact that he ripped his heart out has nothing to do with that superman actually survived a direct hit for him. Joker did that shit everytime in that arc, he was doing some serious damage with mundane things. You are just in denying mode. Its not like superman doesn't have other showings with above Odin level beings anyway. He's survived hits from quantum zealots who were powerful enough to beat 5-d imps.
