Meh, I know you're not serious anyway.

Nobody's that dumb.

All rings operate via someones mindset or will to weild them. Its a mental thing for everyone. If someone can use a ring, and they are given 1 or 9 more, naturally, theyd think theyd be more powerful and will ring sling like they are the most powerful being. The extra rings just give a boost of confidence, so one would think they are becoming more powerful when its really not the case.

Yes, they are 9 extra sources of energy output, but its just there for show really. Its like having a lighter, and then getting another lighter and putting them together to make one flame. The flame doesnt really get hotter.

No. More rings is more power. Skill and willpower can help bridge a gap, but it's clearly more energy output.

It's very evident in Emerald Twilight, both in context and in writing. I doubt his resolve became higher through the arc, but his power clearly did. And Hal already knew no one person could really match him in ringslinging, so it's not a confidence issue.

He starts off fighting two lanterns at once, Kehan and Varna, and while he eventually defeats them, they were giving him a hell of a fight. After that he puts on two more rings, to make three.

After that he makes quick work of Tomar [who even tried to use some 'inescapable' parasite to hold him, and then Jack T Chance consecutively.

5 rings.

As he takes Jack and Tomar's ring he says "The guardians sending each of you against me only makes me STRONGER."

Now, with 5 rings.

Kreon lasts one panel.
Hannu lasts one panel.
Graf lasts one panel.

In narration; "With each victory Hal Jordan AUGMENTS his POWER"

Boodika, lasts a few panels, mostly because of talking- however only 2 attacks, one to disarm her melee weapon. Another to chop off her arm. He takes her ring and leaves.

Hal confronts Kilowog, his mentor.

"You can't beat me Kilowog. You can see how I'm ARMED."

Kilowog is crafty, after a nice counterattack to Hal's initial try, Hal's overbearing power is clearly too much. A barrage of power and Kilowog is out of there.

After this he makes it to OA and confronts Sinestro.

Sinestro says, "Truthfully, I expected more from you, Jordan. Coming here, ARMED like that... Not very sporting is it? Makes my defeat a foregone conclusion. Would you truly rather OVERWHELM me .. than find out if you can best me in an even contest?"

Hal "I don't want any doubt in your mind, I want you to know that I defeated you . . .without any crutches."

If you didn't notice, it was also an escalating gauntlet, each challenge more difficult than the last, however, to Hal, they kept getting easier and easier. His two most difficult fights in the arc - the first fight, and the last, he wore only one ring.

Even taking into the artistry in the arc seems to showcase power growth in most of the scenes as it escalates. In the first couple skirmishes, his aura and constructs are all nice neat lines. Later in the issue, he's almost a pillar of energy, and lightning seems to crackle up and down all of his constructs.

Not every type of ring works the same way.

True!

Hal had 1 ring for the ram, 1 for his shield, 1 for his medieval sword and a final one for laser beam.

I'm too tired, drunk and high to decipher that, but i'm just saying it's faulty logic to say that yellow rings stack and function exactly the same as Green rings.

Yeah, it's not like Geoff Johns said that they were identical or anything....

Sinestro is awesome.

Isn't it weird that the home world of the Violent lanterns was already destroyed? It fell in less then a few pages. I also want to know what happened to the Predator.

Do we have an estimate as to how big the Violet lantern corps was?

Seem like they only had like 30-40 members.

I don't know. It should be big; not that low. 30-40 is very low. The GL corps has 7200. I can expect the Sinestro Corps to have low numbers because of so much enemies, but the violet. They have no enemies but Sinestro's corps. Not to mention, Sinestro was the only one that was fighting them.
They should have around 500-1000

Green Lantern Corps 41 was good ++

Spoiler:
Guy is really kicking ass. Incinerated keehan's corpse -easily- and seemingly healed the wound in his leg. All while maintaining his guy-some attitude throughout.

Yeah, though, I felt like the plot didn't move because they have too many characters to show.

How many issues is this going to total?

I don't expect more. There will be 3 more mini series (JSA, WW, and JLA [ithink]) Then there is 8 other series like Phantom Stranger. There will also be a few other appearance outside the main series.

Any ways, Blackest Night: Batman was crazy!!

Spoiler:
Seems like the black lanterns cant see, they only see emotions. If you don't have emotion, they can't see you. Any ways, it was a perfect way to finish one of the mini series

I really, really enjoyed that tie-in. The Superman one is meh by comparison.

The first issue of BN: Superman is better then Batman's first two issue. The third one was better though
