Electricity is a flow of electrons. I know exactly what particle those are and the energy type.
Fire is something that's not lightni.. you know what? Screw directly manipulating the fire, just manipulate the air around it. Fire can't burn in a vaccum. So it doesn't matter if you can't say exactly what fire is. If you swing the handle you swing the blade regardless of what the blade is.

I'm not sure if force lightning has the same properties of regular lightning. It didn't seem to have as much negative effect or heart stopping power on palpatine.
Yes it couldnt have put fillings in his teeth either, given him evil yellow sith eyes or have deformed him, skeletally/muscularly like that either. (Note that Luke suffered none of that: More evidence for the interpretation that Palps' own lightning just messed him up enough to reveal his actual appearance. "I can't hold on any longer: Im too weak" just as his 'demasking' is complete.)
'Cause no lightning does that to anyone inRL or in SW Except Palps....
(That together with his having the Emporer voice in TPM and AOTC before he faced Mace.)

I thought that too at one point, Creshosk.. but I realised it was unlikely, unless the darkside messes with your dentistry and entire physiology in under 30 secs...I'd probably say not. (And it doesnt appear to have worsened any 20 odd years later in ROTJ.)
And Anakin had the the ol' sith yellow eye for a bit, yet nothing else changed.... Teeth, skeleton, skin tone, etc etc
