Key word is OTHERS. It isn't a very hard to understand. I tip all the time. I even sometimes tip when I pick up takeout. I tip when I get a pizza delivered. I do hear that a lot of black people don't tip. Why they don't tip I don't know. Are you sure they aren't just uneducated "inner-city" blacks. I can't imagine suburban blacks acting like that.

I'd not leave a tip if there was a really good reason for it. Not something stupid like they get the meal wrong or something. But pretty much any other situation I'm with your wife. Sometimes funds don't allow for it, but you get the drift.
