If I'm paying $90 for some food, I certainly expect $90 service. If I'm paying $5 for my food, I expect $5 service. This is why a couple of mistakes are expected. But is it REALLY that hard to remember two drinks? If it is...write the sh*t down. 😐
lol, We don't disagree about any of that. I would certainly tip less than I normally would for worse service.
EDIT: like, the last time I was willing to leave without paying was at this Japanese place where the server started to clean the table before we had even got our check, and ended up dumping all the table crums into my lap. That is something where I would say, NO! A couple of drinks, fine by me, but I get it if its like 4 or 5 things messed up. Even then, if it is busy, I have sympathy.

It certainly helped me in my first week as a server. I certainly didn't forget when I was undertipped or not tipped. The mistake is not forgotten. That was even covered in my training for being a server.
lol, probably one of the reasons I would make a bad server.
I wont get all "psychology of learning" on this one 😉
