Nah, Altair would hold his breath so it cant be solen. He would breathe sparingly, as the Shade would have to gather information on Altair.

heheh but if hes not breathing, can he really have breath which dosnt exist, taken? And does the shade have to maintain concecntration to do it. All Altair has to do is kill him, or yell"Demon! He cast evil magicks on me!"and point. Then would come the guards.

btw the magicks was how they spelled it in that era

There's no concentration required, he simply casts it on you, and you cannot breathe. Then he disappears before the gaurds can even think to chase him.
