"Overwhelming danger to the entire populace of Ord Coridari," General Hirget says. "Danger that is blaringly obvious so that none can deny it."

NOTICE

From this point onward, we will use the newest version of Ush's rules. If Rianna makes any alterations in the Interlude they will be included, but aside from that I want to maintain the character sheets as they are. Is that okay with you two?

Fine with me!

(I don't particularly have anything more to say again, btw...)

Vera-Kin doesn't either.

"I suggest applying pressure, General, but we will see what can be done," Vera-Kin says. "I say we pay the Dame another visit and see if we can't convince her to see reason."

"If you think it will help," Hirget says.

Vera-Kin is not sure, but she does not answer the General. She merely bids him adieu and prepares to get back in the speeder with Rianna and Barker.

"Rianna, we need to make the Dame see what is at stake here," Vera-Kin says. "I'm hoping you'll help me here. You seem hesitant... everything okay?"

"If anything, I am hesitant that I'm going to say or do the wrong thing and mess everything up," Rianna says, looking away. "I'm a warrior, not a negotiator...and I feel like this is beyond my abilities."

"A Jedi must always seek to improve herself," Vera-Kin says. "I don't mean to be harsh, but Ord Coridari is not going to care about your worries if it is set aflame. You can adapt, Rianna."

"I know. And I will do my best to do so..." Rianna replies.

Vera-Kin watches Rianna for a moment, before telling Barker to drive them to the Dame Astrune's part of town once more, promising that they won't get shot at this time.

Rianna doesn't exactly like being watched, but she says nothing more on the way there.

Over to the Astrune Quarter, then. You arrive at her dwelling, with its wide pillared entrance and sloping roof. Two of her Impatient Trickster disciples stand guard on the steps, wearing skin-tight white rubber jumpsuits. Their faces are partially concealed by the outfit, with small eyeholes cut for them, and frayed strips of rubber make a crown around their heads.

"Can we help you?" one asks.

"Yes," Vera-Kin says, observing the strange costuming of the guards. "We are here to see the Dame for matters that are private. Can we see her?"

"Just a moment."

One of the guards steps into the hall of pillars to get on his comlink. When he returns, he confirms that you can move inward to meet with the Dame.

"She will be on her throne," he tells you.

You progress into the home as before, walking down the corridor of pillars to the door. An irritated Rianna can only lustfully observe her lightsaber and the Box on display amongst the Dame's artifacts.

At the door, Barker starts emitting a low growl.

"What is it, Barker?" Vera-Kin asks.

Rianna fights the urge to use the Force to call her lightsaber to her, but is quickly distracted by Barker's growling.

Does she sense anything?

No.

Barker growls about the disabling device that shut off your lightsabers.

Oh. That. Yeah, Rianna is very much not pleased with that stupid little device.

"We aren't here to arrest her and cut off her legs, so I don't have much of a problem with it," Vera-Kin says, though she does dislike the thing. If she gets the chance, she will try to examine it. She wants to figure a way to bypass it, in case they need to. "Shall we proceed?"

"May as well," Rianna says, though she's still not happy about it. "The quicker we talk with her, the quicker we can try and settle things."
