Btw, if that was true, then why didn't he do that to Tenchi? You neglect to mention that he can only do so to certain amounts of energy, amounts that even Cell casually reaches easily.

Eh? Could've sworn Z was killed by Tenchi's kami powers manifesting. Before that, Z cancelled out his LHWs and that slash he gave him would have killed him had not his kami powers manifested.

Z also probably wasn't taking things seriously during those feats. If you already have the tools (LHWs) to beat your opponent, is there really any need to go all out on them?

Further more, why should Z be considered weak just because he didn't outright destroy the Earth and moon? The fact he could take good chunks out of them is actually a good indicator he could destroy them if he did some more blasts. Z is also an arrogant and cocky bastard so he wasn't really taking Tenchi seriously at all. If anything, he was being a bully.

Iirc it'd take 1e29 J to vaporize half of the moon, which is the same as planet busting. Then again annihilating is far more powerful than vaporizing.

Though personally I think due to the *huge* power difference needed between moon-boosting and planet-busting in DBZ, that their moon and our moon are different.
