LOTR RP Game part 1- Journey to Fornost

I shout at Palanfirth:"Master Elf what do you see, is it only the front or are they also attacking at the rear"
I start running to someone who seems to be in command and say:"I served in the army of gondor, I can command troops in battle were do you need a hand?"

I see only 20 but no siege weapons yet.I see only the front,cannot say anythink about the rear.where is vardalain,haven't seen him...oh,no.he is in meditation.I'll go and wake him.Prepare the troops,and send some to see from what regions are we under attack.I do hope is only the gate region...... And then hurries to the barracks where we were invited to wake vardalain.

"No master elf stay there and hold that line, I will go and wake vardalain, I can not do anything in here just yet"

ok,but be careful,our kind is very hard to wake and then start to shoot arrows in the closer orcs.

Ok, Zeratul is off to wake Vardalain. There are less than 20 men under arms here, and most of them are running to defend already.

Palanfirith, you fire a true shot and a goblin goes down. A javelin then thuids into the wooden wall below you.

The knocking at the gate grows louder.

It's getting pretty dangerous here thinks Palanfirith and then fires another arrow at an orc that was going at the gate.Then rushes along the wall to see the rear if it's under attack....

Talin throws a few big fist-sized stones down at the Orcs from a top the gate. "Stupid Orcs...mindless creatures..." he mutters with each stone he throws. He does not want to charge out into battle yet, especially with those javelins flying.

vardalain, roughly awaken by Zeratul quickly takes his bow and matches an arrow in it. He is a little surprised of the heard news, saying nothing, but patting Zeratul on the shoulder as a sign of appreciation for awaking him. He rushes outside trying to find a suitable position for shooting. before climbing anything he shoots a couple of arrows evr the wall in the direction of palanfirith's aiming.

Talin, there are about ten orcs at the front gate by the two dead guards, smashing away at the hate with hand axes. Five behind them are armed with spears. A javelin whistles past your ear, and there is a cry from behind you as it impales the arm of a guard.

Palanfirith, I know you are en Elf but even an Elf would hesitate to run along a series of sharpened stakes so I could do with knowing another way you plan to check out back.

An axe head pierces the gate.

"We need to block the gate, or if it falls, we need many men that can defend it!" Aranui shouts, while shooting arrows down from the wall."

"I agree Master Aranui but we need more men"
I charge towards the gate trying to find some men who are willing to help form a line

"Ok, here is what we should do" Aranui shouts down to the others, "The bow specialists Palanfirith, Vardalain and Finuvien should place themselves on the wall and fire down at the orcs. Me, Talin, Anglomir and Zeratul will be on the ground at the gate."

(Palanfirth didn't went to check the rear of the camp,as ush posted)
Palanfirith shoots arrows after arrows trying ot get the orcs near the gate.He shouts to Aranui Check the rear of the camp.We could be taken by surprize.And keep this gate in feet couse if it falls we're history.Our number is very small.... .

I start looking around for something that I can use to block the gate with
don't these guys have any wagons or something like that

vardalain, climbing the wall now, posts him self carefully just above the gate. Shooting everything approaching it, still paying great agtention to whatever thrown objects might come towards him.

The next javelin thrown your way from your exposed position on the gate does not miss, Palanfirith. It goes through your thigh. With an agonised cry you drop backwards into the camp.

Kumar and some men are preparing to attack the orcds when they breech the gate. Sadly, Zeratul, it is far too late to bring additional material to block it. The main beam splinters and cracks under the axe assault.

(Anyone else still on the gate is being foolish- the goblins are less than ten feet from you there and you are an easy mark)
