indeed.I hope the rangers will do a good job and get that criminal

Waiting for one of the rangers to post, then...

(Centuries later...)

Damn those Elven Rangers and their 'long-term' view on tracking...

Ok, you guys can get going anyway. Your target is heading north by northeast.

Aranui goes with the other rangers in front, searching for tracks, hints, anything.

Vardalain keeps his pace behind the rangers looking in front, through their direction.

I take the rear

I'm in the middle of the group
(I hope clues will apper soon....😄)

This man climbs FAST, Aranui. He must be a Dunlending for they are renowned their speed on such ground. Horses would not have been much good on this terrain.

For the whole day you chase him, yet there is not sight of him, even for the Elves- though no sight of more enemies either.

You must choose now to make camp and rest for the night, or press on in hope of catching him on the idea that HE has stopped.

Aniica stays with Palenfirth. She had some herbs mixed, and later she would give them to him to help the swelling down. Garisal flew over-head.

Your bird does not like Rhudaur, Aniica. It is an evil place, like those parts of your wood that have been claimed by the darkness.

Pooh! Ok.....:'( Oh well, not only have I left my horse, now my poor hawk can't even come! :'(

Oh, it can come! That was just me being descriptive! It find this land uneasy- just as you do.

I don;t think any of you are great climbers, though the Rangers are good by default. And ONE of you did remember to bring rope (thank Fire...)

Oh, hahaha!

vardalain can push the walking through the night also, but he'll do what the others decide. The hobbit and the dwarf are most probaby tired. So is the wounded.

"If you hadn't brung the rope Zeratul, we would being getting far. Thanks!" calls William as they track the tracked.

"I believe camping for the night is the best option. We can by no means be close to our target, for there is no sight of him anywhere. What good does then a hasty and tiresome hunt do? We would travel faster if we got some hours of rest. This is my view, and my feelings, but if anyone else feel otherwise do speak, perhaps other views on the case can make it easier to decide."

I'll wait just a little longer...

"I agree with master Aranui, I think we can not go on much longer at this pace'

"also agree with you Aranui. My wound starts to feel much better after Aniica's herbs but I need to rest my leg." sais Palanfirith.
(ush I would like you to tell me when the wound starts to cure, just to make my posts after my medical status)
