Nah. An Eotheod might have known a bit, or a Common Man from the woods, but none of you guys (unless you had speicifed language skills at charatcer creation).

Wait... there is another voice as well... snarling in guttural Westron (that's English, to you guys). A man answers it in Westron too, but you are a bit far to hear.

Outside, the Dunlendings now come into sight. One of them keeps putting his ear to the ground.

(ok, what ever. any ways, can u ppls tell me when u need me? TALK TO U LATER!)

"Palanfirith, I think they are occupants of the tower. They probably won't be 'passing' any time soon!" he whispers.

"Vardalain, you have better ears than us. What are the people speaking in Westron saying?" Talin asks.

"Stop talking.see that guy.he trys to hear us.we cannot fight with them,we'll wait for them to pass and then head to the tower" sais Palanfirith in a way so only the group would hear him.

Vardalain tries to strech his position nearer to the dunlendings, so he can hear what they say. He is carefull not to give away their position, thus he tries to stay as hidden as possible.

Vardalain, you can't even SEE them, You only just got inside.

(I think he's just typing a complicated way of saying "I'm listening"😉

"Well, can you here them?"

(yes, i was planning an approach considering my made movements inside)
Vardalain approaches confident, considering when to stop not to be seen.
He listens...

Ok. Two Dunlendings are talking to an orc in an area down below you, for the tower entrance is above an open basement area. The Dunlendings talk in Dunael, but sometimes confused coversations in Westron break out as the orc does not speak Dunael nor do they speak Black Speech.

One of the Dunlendings is the Minstrel who was missing from the camp. The dispatch lays on a table nearby him, as does a map of Rhudaur and Arthedain- not of Cardolan, as you might expect.

The Orc exclaims "Princess... WHEN?"

"She is out hutning for a month. If you can attack the north road to Norbury fast enough you may just take her.

"YOU help..." snarls the orc.

"WE don't have any forces in Arthedain," says the Dunlending. The orc grumbles.

"One month then... but Princess is OURS, not yours..."

VArdalain slowly turns back to the others and shares the information.
"what princess would that be?" he asks.
"either case. It would be very good if we could take them while we're here. It seems they're heads of these two armies."

"Yes, but would it not prove difficult for only the three of us to take them out now?"

(what about the group outside?)

Well, Dexx, count how many royal families there are in the area.

1. Arthedain's
2....

Oh.

Well, the situation takes a bit of a turn for the worst now, because the minstrel from the camp has just spotted the people spying on him. He and his compatriot draw swords at once and cry the alarm. And the whole patrol outside start to run towards the tower...

a bit of a turn for the worse?

Maybe more a tad than a bit. Those guys in the tower are drawing swords. The orc unslings a warhammer.

"why is the patrol leaveing in hurry?something is happening.....I sense the worse. If they were spotted they are in a trap. They cannot leave without our help.We have a chance because we are a surprise that the orcs don't aspect.let's hurry and get closer to see the situation."sais Palanfirith.

(ooh..arthedain's...😄)
"we must run.." says Vardalain. "i can't see any spot to hide.."

Palanfirith, you would have heard the cries for help inside the tower as well, so you know why they are heading there.

Hiding would be a tad irrelevant, Vardalain, seeing as they are about ten metres from you. The two Dunlendings are rushing up to attack you.

Aranui quickly gets out his bow and starts fireing arrows at the attackers.
