(king of arthedain??)
"Elf" i answer "..on way to fornost."
vardalain isn't sure enough the man must be shared with the princess information yet.

The Knight rides around you suspiciously, Vardalain.

"And what business do Elves have travelling like a peasant? Since when did Elf and Dwarf journey together? Who are these men, who so associate with you? And as for you, Halfling, you would do well to stay within your lands as granted to you."

"I am Aranui, member of the royal household of Gondor, and this is our fellowship. We seek nothing but to fight the evil forces of the world."

"We also wish to help the great kingdom of Arnor. Our journey began in Rivendell. I and the Halfling were going to Fornost to set a trade route, the Elves going to show that they do care for Men's plight...er, that's what they said...and the Men going to show their alliance, or something like that."

"The nature of our journey has changed though, my good Knight. During our journey we happened to stumble upon plans to capture the Princess of Arthedain. Orcs and Dunlendings are planning to set a trap for the Princess, and either hold her for ransom or kill her (most likely the latter). As you can see, we mean no harm and wish to help."

Andorial quietly observes the knight, trying to get more info on him....

*glances at the man with a mild amount of disdain and refrains from speech. he's nosy, and a little rude.*

The Knight is intrigued when you identify yourself as a member of the royal household of Gondor, Aranui. His attitude turns rather cold again, however, when Talin starts talking about the Princess.

"You will all come with me," he says.

vardalain briefly looks at aranui before he starts following the man

"Where do you plan to take us?" Talin asks. He feels he should not mention the mithril shipment just yet.

"To my comrades," says Steibar- and indeed, as you approach the road, the sight of men, some horses, and carriages comes into sight.

Andorial tags along with the rest...

yeah...vardalain too

well, i'm not planning to stay behind. >D *follows*

(where'd aniica go?)

(Probably busy...or she hates us and left 😄 )

"You are part of the princess' hunting party are you not?"

"I sure hope so."whispers Palanfirith to Andorial.I am moving along with my camaradesbut a strange sence is disturbing me.I am somewhat nervous.

The Knight and his companion are silent as they ride you back to their column.

This is not huge- four carriages in the middle with some forty men truding slowly alongside it, and eight other horsemen with Knights on the saddles. Everyone turns to look at you as you are led amongst these people, with varying glances.

You are lead over to a man standing by the Knights, in worn leather gear. He is a tall, good looking man, with blue eyes, jet black haior and a beard. He looks over all of you as well.

Steibar explains the situation, rather loudly. The man looks puzzled.

"You claim to be a member of the Royal Household of Gondor?" he asks of you, Aranui.

"Why do people keep bringing that up? He is a Gondorian! Look at his clothes, and his sword, and his money, and whatever he has that is Gondorian," Talin says. He doesn't expect anyone to really care what a Dwarf says, which makes him all the more impatient.

"A member of the Royal Household of Gondor I am. My name is Aranui, son of Lord Erendurin."

Why are humans always so strange when it comes to meeting allies and aid

"I don't remember asking you anything," says the man to you, Talin, when you speak.

"Lord Erendurin's son?" says the man after you identify yourself, Aranui. "Your arms will bear his crest, of course?" he asks. They do so, of course. He looks at them and then stares at your face for a while.

"Steibar," he says, "This man is a Dunadan. Please explain to me why my kinsman has been herded into this column like a peasant."

"Well... I... uh..." begins Steibar, fainity.
