More like, Logan's tired from fighting Omega Red, gets forced into fighting someone he knows is a hero, that he's saved in the past.
The guy tries to beat him, fails miserably, Logan noting that his healing factor isn't up to snuff, takes it easy on Blade, retracting his claws and punching him in the face.
Blade disarmed, on his back, on the floor, pulls some plot device BS where he THINKS he's at an advantage, Wolverine dares him to do it with a smile, Blade pansies out, and Wolverine lets him go... because he's not a cape killer.
