Well that's proof that juggernaut has super speed.

Actually yeah he did. Juggs specifically says, with a smile, "I'm not as fast as you runts, so I can take some stabbing to let you get in close. It was worth it".

I get your point but that doesn't nececsarily mean he allowed himself to get kicked to the ground. He specifically said stabbing not getting kicked to the ground. He could have just stood still.

Not really he mostly like just road the sound construct as she can generate a propulsive force.

It didn't get any impresion there was propulsion. He just asked for a bridge.

That could have happened though.

Yea, it's hard to say but going by what I see it seems he was running on his own.

Lets put it this way Juggernaut has never showed superspeed and he has ultmately been drastically depowered so why would he show superspeed now? The beam was making a "wzzzzhhhh" indicating it wasn't just a platform he ran on. Heck you can run off the roof of a truck while it's going 40mph and the 40mph isn't actually your running speed.

Yeah, it was a platform made of SOUND on water. Who knows what something the size and weight of Juggernaut would sound like while running on it. Besides, he has already done the same type of thing in an earlier TBolts' issue and showed some speed, literally kicking up huge dust trails.

Actually looking back at that scan, I think that noise is just the water being pushed away.

Maybe Cyttorak had a bit of a heart. And to make up for depowering Cain, he sped him up so he could still hit with a bit of force. Because like Ptr said, he's shown some speed and done things he never did while at classic levels.

Yes I know it was made from sound and I know she has developed her abilities she can accelerate her constructs as before she could only glide with her wings before now she doesn't have to. Knocking up dirt doesn't indicate superspeed, heck Puck has done that.

wzzsshh is a sound commonly used for wind effects

It is pretty clear they were indicating speed in the earlier issue.

That sound is the waves breaking as Juggernaut takes each stride on the sound bridge. She wasn't accelerating him.

Thats not a clear indication of speed, heck he has sone similar things non-depowered.

Proof?

In that same issue he is running by Cage in a blur and his legs are blurred out in another panel. Before that scan I just posted he is barreling through the woods at very high speeds as indicated by the art. The only differences between these two instances is that one takes place on a sound bridge and in one panel while previous takes place over several panels and the whole "after-image" art effect thing is not needed. It is clear he is moving very fast.

Once again nothing new for him, and Thing has done something similar not to long ago.

He is moving fast most likely due to the sound construct speeding him up.

Or he is moving fast because he has very powerful legs. You can believe what you want. The only way I'll believe Songbird sped him up is if it is said by the writer and/or in the story. But I'll take on-panel actions for now.

Cain also built up a good bit of speed and got a pretty long jump when they were fighting the Hand.

Cain actually has been drawn to deliberately demonstrate superspeed in the past.

In New Excalibur he was running away and didn't realize he ran into the front of a bus.

In earlier Thunderbolts Comics he was shown to speed blitz the terrigin mist monsters in a blur.

I mean I don't think they are giving him quicksilver level speed but I could see it being closer to Hulk level speed.

Oh definetly Hulk level, I know people on other boards claimed he was a legit speedster now. That is what I have issue, especially when this feat can be chalked up to Songbird aswell though

If it was a one time thing it could be chalked up to Songbird, but as was stated. He's had consistent showings of Super Speed throughout Thunderbolts.

Just to clear things up, I'm NOT saying he has Quicksilver speed or that he is a speedster, but that he is moving fairly fast, on his own, in that issue.

Thunderbolts#153:

Huggernaut (and later others)Vs King hyperion

all cred to guy for scanning
