Yea, that's what I thought.

Why is she being called the "original" witch? Is she just being called that because she's part of the original vamp family?

Well we don't know there she wasn't the original witch, we only know there was another witch with her while they lived there. Logically we can't rule out that she wasn't the first. However I do agree that it was implied it did not begin with her, at least you don't get the sense that she was during that flashback episode. And if she was the original, that creates some other problems.

Speaking of originals, how come there aren't powerful original werewolves?

We don't know who the original wolves are do we? Maybe we haven't seen them yet? We know the wolves preceded the vampires but we don't know that werewolves mentioned in the flashbacks were the originals. I'm hoping they save that for later, like the elder/original wolves coming out to the party.

Also, Vampires > Werewolves so 😛

Now, about that latest episode:

Klaus: "I'm a hybrid, I can't be killed!"

Um yes you can silly, apart from your mother, there is also the White Oak stake.

But overall, such an epic episode. Probably one of the most epic VD episodes ever. Not in terms of the plot, but just the presence of all the remaining Originals and witch at the same time.

So this is actually a good show?????? Wow.

Yea, first season has a lot of that, it pretty much goes away.

man, some of the girls in this show are extremely annoying.

Everyone in the first season sucked besides Damon.

I thought Katherine was pretty cool too.

Yea, forgot about her.

Another "ball" episode tonight. It's like every season we have one of those. or two. Maybe 3.

What season is Vampire Diaries on in RL? I just watched the first two seasons on Netflix, and I need to see what happens next [season two finale : Stefan drinks massive amounts of blood and then bites to kill an uncompelled woman, now his bad vampie side has taken over and Klaus wants to team up with him. Klaus gave Katherine the cure for the werewolf bite and Damon is healed, and getting a little smoochy with Elena. Jeremy is home, in the hallway, and on either side of him stand Vicky and Anna, two vampires that Damon killed. SOO much cliffhanger.

Damon is a phucking badass.

What the hell is this? None of the writers are aware of the massive plot hole?

How to kill Klaus... hmmmm lets see... some elaborate spell or THE WHITE OAK STAKE.

Okay, perhaps the mom wants to kill ALL the originals and the spell might be more convenient but I get the feeling the stake is just being forgotten about (with all this rubbish they keep repeating about how Klaus can't die).

Now there is also another problem with the mom's intentions - if she thinks her children are abominations of nature and she has to "fix nature", then she would also have to kill ALL the vampires...lets see if thats what she will do, otherwise her reasons for killing her children makes no sense.

Also, the mother is such a hypocrite. She is doing all this for 'moral' reasons, yet the werewolves are equally as much abominations that kill humans - her own son nonetheless - and she slept with one, betraying her own husband and family - yea shes such a do-good'er. Lets think why this all began - yes the werewolves, she should've wiped them out at the start, or at least she needs to do so now to justify her reasons for killing vampires.

She wants to wipe out all the originals. Maybe it will be revealed that every other vampire will die because they are connected to the originals. Seems like that would be a reasonable plot point.

If werewolves were not created by magic then they are not an abomination and are a part of nature. After all, animals kill humans all the time. I also don't think werewolves are immortal.

Wasn't the only white oak stake the one that killed Michael, and wasn't it destroyed?

I doubt it. If the other vampires are linked, then none of the originals will die since we know if all the vampires die the show is finished. But I guess they can fix any plot with magik.

I am pretty sure they are supernatural in nature. I don't think they are immortal either but we don't know for sure.

Just watched that episode again... you are right.

Wow I didn't thik I could hate Elena anymore then I do know. And I also think the Salvatores should be killed or at least taught a lesson.

Why?

Elena is so damn annoying, and seems to think the world revolves around her.

I like that the mom wanted to undo what she'd done. She made her husband and children stronger to curb the werewolves intrusions. The side affect was they became blood thirsty, and unmanageable. Esther was dead for over a thousand years, and all that time was feeling the sins of her creations, and the anger of the spirits. Imagine that feeling for a thousand years-I don't think its self righteous for her to want to end their lives. Its only trying to right a wrong.

As for the werewolves, they were probably beyond her magic to control or destroy.

I like the new plot twist that a sappling of the white oak has been discovered, now we probably know at least some of the originals will be destroyed, if not than all if that linked together spell is still working.

Why?

Anytime Elena interferes she ends up making the situation worse.

And, the Salvatore Brothers are jerks. Any body is fair game when it comes to saving that moron Elena. Turning Bonnie's mother into a vampire better not be forgiven over two episodes.

I like Finn.
