Of course not. Especially when a female character is painted in a less then positive light. Never mind the fact that her character, while a stereotype, has been applied equally to both men and women.

I don't even really get why she was such an offensive stereotype anyway. To me she was just a real person, because she was very feminine and had an important, prominent position at the park. So what if she wasn't extremely outdoorsy. Plenty of people like that exist... men or women.

The problem that people have with her is that she starts off as cool and uncaring and the becomes more motherly. So people seem to believe the movie is suggesting that woman should be mothers and focus on families and not just on their jobs. I could see why some find this offense, but this stereotype and arc isn’t restricted to women but to both genders. Which is why I don't find it sexist.

Was anyone surprised of some of the violence in this movie? I like violence but was expecting a more kid friendly movie.

Yeah, not sexist, but just stereotypical enough for SJW's to go after the film, I guess. ermm

Disgusting how its trendy now-a-days to find "sjw" complaints in everything.

Inhuman, I doubt its just a trend that will pass any time soon.

All I know is that if I go see this movie and there isn't at least a cookie after the trailer of Jeff Goldblum watching TV and making a " I told em so" crack I will be MOST DISPLEASED!

The violence in the movie was fine it wasn't some R rated movie.

Yeah, the only thing missing from the movie was Goldblum. 🙁

Maybe in JW2. We can always hope. 🙄

That's one of the things the feminists are up in arms about.

Maybe the movie had something against British women that we didn't know about.

A guy could have gotten raped by both I.Rex and the pack of Raptors before they tore him apart violently while his girlfriend watched, and SJW's would complain that they are being unnecessarily cruel to the girlfriend and she would most likely be traumatized all her life by that experience.
