What if Raiders of the Lost Ark was a 50's movie

Well, yes... but then again. The look of Alien4 is very consistent with his own visual style. It usually works well, not so much here.

Indeed. I liken Directors who attempt to utilise filtering or over palletizing as a signature as similar to the kind of guitarists who play the same lick over every tune, regardless of the feel of the tune.

Well, there's something to say for it. But Jeunet is more an auteur in that sense. He usually choses or writes scripts that are all his from the very start. Alien4 was never that.

It's also interesting to see in all the Making Of's of Alien in the Anthology or Quadrilogy that Alien4 was the only movie that didn't have any studiocrap going on... hehehe... One needs adversity to be great, it seems.

Heh seems so..

Lucas should have had some of that making the PT and TAOS.

Indeed. Too many 'yes men' involved on those occasions, perhaps.

Sure sure

Yes.

😖hifty:

Whatever you say, massa.

No matter how much it destroys a previously beloved classic?

That already happened.

Ahhhh but will you do it again?

The process is continuing... You're not watching CW?

I saw up to the Jar nearly getting killed 40 times episode.

Felt jerked around and havent resumed watching since.
"Will probably pick up again, but not rushing" is roughly where thats at on my priorities list.

Good choice.

Well, the first three of this season weren't bad... the one about a new Maul... kinda interesting. Once they depart from the usual suspects like Anakinl OB1 and Padme, it gets interesting very quickly.

Should Star Wars ever have to be that way? 🙁

Star Wars was excellent even if it focused on no other character that a Jawa. New Star Wars struggles to be mediocre when dealing with its principle cast.

Oh it doesn't struggle to be mediocre. It's quite good at that.

Some of that acting had a lonnnnnng way to go til it would get up to the level of mediocre.

😂

You know it to be truuueeee 😛
