The whole cuddly pixar type medium seems to ill fit a war situation where dark sides of forces and sabre mutilations are common place..
You wouldnt let Pixar cover Iraq or Afghanistan or WW2 concentration camps, would you? At least the original felt grittier, and more advanced.
I mean the CGI one is so juvenile, that next they'll probably come up with a plot in which a cross dressing Uncle of Jabbas puts the Jedi on baby sitting mission with an ikkle babaaaay Hutt... 🙄
I know. Its incredibly far fetched and unlikely, but I believe that the folks who have hijacked the SW franchise and seem intent on raping it of every last piece of virtue it once had, may indeed stoop that low one day, for its one of those moves that would achieve their twisted ends almost overnight.
