A lot of his earlier fights, are basically showings of fighting skills. He used his fighting skills all the time, to dodge, out maneuver and pummel his opponents back in the day.

Lets not forget that Thor can learn any H2H fighting style that his opponent is using and improve on it to be superior then the guy he is fighting during the battle. thor has done this before and won. 😛

Not extraordinary or anything but the gap would make an important difference if they both went hand to hand and used their skill. Thor simply rarely uses his skill nowadays. Back in the day, he used to use his skill to dodge and weave, but currently, he'd tank a punch and just trade hits (I think it started because of his fights with the Hulk.). But this is "full potential" so....

How large do you think the gap between Diana and Clark is?

not high enough that if their physical stats were equal, he'd hold his own for a decent time.

considering she's supposed to be one of the best, that says something, imo.
