Maybe a Full Metal ALchemist RPG?

Edward and Al had finaly reached their goal of getting back Al's body, but another war begins. It seems that about half of the whole state alchemist group began to strike because the GEneral ordered them to destroy another city, which they wouldn't do.And soon rebelled. THey started their own colonies and leagues, and now a war rages. Players can create their own Alchemists or warriors, or take over the ones from the original anime. THey could be on neither side of the war, the rebel one, or the navy one(Evil).

there I have someone for a marvel rpg and we both have extensive knowlege of the marvel universe! this would be awesome!

Yeah, as I said it's still in it's early stages. It may not be hit points, but I don't know what I'ld have instead. The hit points thing would only be for combat and that wouldn't be that much of the game. It'ld be mostly using your brain to solve puzzles and exploring.

I thought of maybe calling it "The game", where the ship it hit with a knockout ray thing of sorts, and then upgraded to be a sporting challenge. Meanwhile, the away team can't beam back up because the ship has all systems (except life support) off-line. They try to get to a communications satilitte, when the enemy beam down to challenge them, but without the upgrades as their phasers are just as powerful. Or something like that...

I'll need to have hitpoints for ship to ship combat, as in shield and hull integrity, but I'm not sure about the rest. I can't have "one phaser blast kills" as that would be too harsh.

Also for ship battles I thought maybe have it like in Skies of Arcadia, where each member on the ship can contribute a thing to be done, then they are sorted out in, I dunno, rank order. With each rank of person only being able to do certain things. Such as an engineer would be the only one who could spend a turn to "heal" the ship, and a pilot being the only one who can maneuver, or maybe just have them as getting bonus'a as opposed to being the only ones who can do them.

I don't think I'll even get to the second Stargate mission, interest is down and I've lost one of the players already. So I may have to put it on haitus if I can get interest for this.

Skies of Arcadia's ship-to-ship (flying pirate ships 😛) is turn based. Turn's are split into a grid, with characters down one side and time slots along the other. A character is given a move to perform and this is put into a timeslot. The other ship has a similar (hidden) grid, they act out the grid by going along the timeslots, your-ship, their ship, yourship their ship etc. It's kinda hard to explain.

I was thinkking... did anyone notice that there are no Avengers rpg's what about one of those it would be less "complicated".

hmm... maybe... what kind of format were you thinking of using?

Now, I know Ush isn't here, but that doesn't mean you can post vague ideas about new games. You need to explain them a bit, what you've got planned for them, what type of game it'll be, maybe a bit of the story, you can't just post a name of one.

what do you mean format and really for power format I was thinking of just saying who was stronger than Whoom...and USH is'nt here?

1730 Hours, Standard Military Time
United Nations Military HQ

Welcome to the Ghosts, recruit; You are now the highest ranking soldier in the UN corps. Congratulations on having passed basic and advanced training, now's the time for some real field experience.

The Ghosts will be deployed to protect against terrorism for the general civilian community and the economy.

RULES====

Using your own personalities and skills, role play in this strategic RPG to be a dangerous strategic trooper, spec ops. When you are playing, try to keep it interesting and exciting by making it hard, but not impossible.

Before the actual mission role-playing starts, there's going to be four phases.

1.)Briefing
2.)Planning
3.)Equipment
4.)Deployment

BRIEFING- Explains the outlines of the mission to role-play. Rules of engagement are decided here.

PLANNING- this is where maps and images(topography, vegetation) are uploaded, where suggestions are made how to best tackle the mission. The squad will divided up into red and blue designated teams.

EQUIPMENT - CHoose from an available list of weapons and items to use in the role play.

DEPLOYMENT - This is where the actual role playing starts. Green light to engage, in other terms.

the rainbow six sounds cool but anyone for Avenger's... plus ton's of hero's have been Avenger's before so Char's will be easy
