OKAY fine WARHAMMER 40 000, in the grim darkness of the future their is only war..... (copyright Cidadel Miniatures) any way I wanted to make a form were ppl can post up their armies and the battles they have been in or just you know make up a history of an army in the post and fight grand battles by ppl being soliders or something....
Anyway ya sorta be a discussion and battle senerios of Warhammer 40k...
Interest?..... oh by the way you should know what 40 k is beside the computer game, but u gotta startsomewhere i guess.
cause u haven't played warhammer 40k the board game nor do you have an imagination beyond wielding a sword in hand or a halo weapon.... you can make it into an rpg, just be a narrartor for a squad of something.... or say the setting of the battle, and if ur abishious u can type up the design of ur army inch by inch, (and those guys aren't very big models, therefore i was making a joke if u dont know) any way ya that way ppl dont have to be controled to fight enemies. So..... any takers?
I didn't say I would have trouble, but its akward and as far as I've seen, rarely done before. But I'm in for it. And yes Ive seen the Warhammer board game before, also, you havent seen me an anything but a few RPG's and as such really cant comment on my imagination, I could insult you severly for that but im a nice guy, Ill have to settle for assasination.
How about a Star Wars d20 game?
I know we have a huge star wars dedicated rpg forum anyway, but i don't know how to refer to this. I don't have the SW d20 book, so I was going to use generic D&D matireal but make spaceships, jedi, and droids be playable.. Perhaps some sortof space-age D&D would be a better term. But the philsophy of the force and the feel still very much applies to this game..also working on an exotic weapon: lightsaber.

HA! You proved my theory correct! I didn't mean anything by 'go to Raz', I just said that because I knew it would get me a response sooner. And about planning, the game is based on a world I already created, I had everything I needed to get started. Since I have confirmation, I'm going to start my game now! Hurray!!! 💃

lol, I thought about it, as I can only invision two types of droids..
Manienance and Humanoid droids.
Mantinance droids have self-made weapons stored in this. Say, a laser that does 1d4+1d4 for each character level in non-elemental damage. If it breaks you'll have to roll a craft check of 20+your current level inorder to succeed in fixing it. Untill then you can only otherwise use simple weapons.
Where as a humanoid finds weapons to call his own, (He knows all simple/martial/exotic!) which can sometimes be more powerful, but the grueling task of finding a weapon or buying one and it breaking or something is an always apparent threat. Take the good with the bad.
Both can get "upgrades" allowing more customization in weapons naturaly desgined on thier body. Maybe something like a soulknife, maybe knockout gas, possibilities are endless.
The other mixture of customization as far as droids go is to be a protocol or assassin droid.
Protocol droids can speak any language, gain +2 on all knowledge, gather information, and diplomacy checks, a slew of skills, and have a hit die of d8. But have a very weak progressive list in saves and BaB.
Assasin droids gain a hit die of d12, have a high BaB, normal fighter-like saving throws, and a decent skill list. At level 9 they get to add +1d12 to a damage roll 1/day as an extradionary ability. The ability would be called "making an ass out of self"
