Siege: Invasion of Asgard [ Disscssion Thread]

I think Osborn made a mistake doing it so soon. That was his token to get the Void to help him. Maybe at this point he thinks they're partners or something but with Sentry's safety gone I don't know what's stopping him from just turning on everyone. Though that may be what the climax is.

Does anyone not think that SentryVoid bares a resemblance to Blackheart?

It also looks like some past form of Onslaught, in a shadow form.

He looks like a roid rage symbiote to me at times.

He looks like Zoidburg to me.

Has Hulk/Banner featured in Dark Avengers?

I seem to recall something with Banner on a list of targets for Osborn, so maybe FoTH is happening in a splinter-universe at the same time?

Not for Dark Avengers. Nope

That was Dark Reign The List: The Hulk one shot.

Siege #3 - a huge disappointment...

why?
i found it good

Everything happened too fast... fight scenes were poor... mixed feelings about the art...

All hope in the tie-ins.

well it's a 4 issue series...if they had more issues for it there could develop it better

Fight scenes were too brief. A panel is not a whole fight between Hawkeye and Ronin or Iron-man and Iron-Patriot. When Spidey wallops Osborn, sure it was cool, but it was one punch......

Osborn went down because Tony overrode his armour. What took him so long? The Hood's gang show up? So what? THEY DIDN'T DO ANYTHING FOR THE REST OF THE ISSUE!!!

Not a terrible issue but lots of flaws.

Bendis made Clint shitstomp Bullseye before 😬 His villains are always so ineffective against heroes... I mean, more than usual that is.

I'm counting on the awesome Taskmaster/Cap fight in Avengers Initiative...

Do you like his new look?

Nah, an extra page devoted to the fight with four panels should be enough depending out how artist depicts their bout. This is either laziness or a lame attempt at milking the Thor/Sentry fight in future stories or tie-ins.

Hopefully Gillen extends the fight in Thor's own book.

I think he looks like Bowie in Labyrinth.

I just read Spider-Man's "American Son" arc, then "The List" trade. They tied together nicely and were a really good read...probably the best Siege and/or Dark Reign-related stuff I've read. This Gauntlet nonsense in ASM right now is kinda meh though.

from a quick look on the previews the tie ins are going to explain what was left unsaid in the main issue...like the fight with hood's gang

I have to say I'm enjoying the parallels between Osborn and Bob's respective spirals into insanity. Their unstable psyches are similar, but Bob's is far more dangerous (obviously). 😛
