I haven't read anything that sarcastic and funny for a while.

Fingers still crossed that the outcome of SIEGE will be Steve Rogers: Agent/Director of SHIELD.

I've been saying that for ages.

Bucky should stay as Cap, Steve or Maria Hill should take over S.H.I.E.L.D. or at least have major roles.

I'd vote for Maria Hill. I think she's one of the best, most believable and relevant female characters in Marvel history.

She needs to be in more series'.

All I know is this: anyone criticising Bendis' ability to create tension with dialogue and follow it up with action needs to read Siege: The Cabal.

Osborn talking to someone, I thought it was Loki. Then they REFERRED to Loki, so I'm wondering. Then you see him staring at the Green Goblin mask

That's just the opening pages.

When The Cabal met and

Dr. Doom started getting into shit with Osborn, I didn't actually know who needed to shut their mouth more. I always think Doom will own a *****, but it finally hit me that Bendis really has crafted Osborn into a truly dangerous man after that scene

On top of that, the ending was just genius,

Loki's proposition to Osborn was just...so sinister

Siege is actually looking to be an event that lives up to the hype. It's either going to be madly epic if they do it as close to perfect as they can, or it'll be a failure beyond comprehension.

Judging by this one-shot I'm inclined to think the former.

what completely blew me away was that Osborn's ace in the hole WASNT the Sentry... I repeat WASNT the Sentry..as was seen in the very begining when the cabal was just formed in the Emma and Namor days and after he gathered everyone he intro'd the shadowed figure in the doorway..talk about misdirection...awesome...awesome misdirection. the only other person in MU who lives on earth who can scare the living dogshit out of everyone is Molecule Man....i wonder?

No i know MM is powerful as nuts but not the type tat scares Doom.

or the kid he had with Harry's Girlfriend artificially aged or something...the reason i made that assessment was the fact that A. sentry was all bewildered and shit when everything was going down, and B. the opening panels showed Asgard aloft in OK Rather than Latveria, so since MM was expressing a great fear of Reed of all ppl old ozzy might have been able to manipulate his weak mind like he did Sentry and offered to protect him from reed's big bad inventions in return for being his hatchet man

Have'nt picked up Siege: The Cabel but going by some of the reviews Bendis has finally got something right.

sorry dude..but i dont do spoilers..i simply refuse.too much work for nothing really, cuz 99.99% of everyone is going to highlight and read anyway. i dont see it as big deal. spoilers have never made me disinterested in comics, if anything it heightens my anticipation and makes me want to see it for myself even more. but i know ur sensitive about it so i'll try better next time, but in the interim methinks life is too short to be giving urself a headache over it
