Thanos vs Superman/Silver Surfer/Thor/Gladiator

Started by Batman-Prime20 pages

The Thanosi he modeled had the best attributes of the beings he took the DNA from. In the Gladiator case it was the Strength that was improved because it was obviously greater then Thanos's own.

Lulz at the Thor PG argument and the lack of centext.
Quan: Do you think Gladiator is stronger then Superman, as strong or weaker?

Common sense.

You can improve the DNA, that's why it's more probably then Gladiator is only two or 3 times stronger then Thanos. Nothing wrong there.

why would thanos combine his DNA with Gladiators in order to make a being only as powerful as he already is?

as he already is means Thanos? or Glads?

If you mean Thanos is stronger it wouldn't make any sense to combine the DNA.

If you mean Gladiator, then to make a being which is physically stronger then Thanos himself.

He wanted gladiators strength which is higher than his. If i combine my DNA with a bodybuilder... I want his strength.

No, Thanos took a warrior like Gladiator and improved on his strength just like he improved on Galactus' power through a clone.

What context did I leave out?

No one is demeaning thanos.. I give thanos the win over anyone of them one on one. That Galactus clone ate 3 planets, so he will be more powerful..lol.. As for gladiator being stronger than thor?.. Very easy to prove.
Then feel free to do so.

I already gave another example of Thanos improving on Galactus power through another clone and this is another example of him improving Gladiator strength through a clone.

He improved Galactus power, which is greater then Thanos own. He improved Gladiators strength, which is greater then Thanos own. Make sense.

Or it could be there combined strength that he wanted you can't prove he was a straight up combo of gladiator and thanos we can't prove he is an enhanced combo neither argument can be proven.

No, he improved both their strength and power. No where is it implied Glads' strength is greater than Thanos' own only he was a being he wanted to clone and make into a warrior clone. If you read the story you'd realize this.

That galactus clone ate 3 planets.. The dr. strange clone was weaker than the real Dr. strange so out the door with the improvement theory. He did not improve Galactus power, the clone just ate like hell.

Yes, but the fact reamins Omega was more powerful than Galactus. Genis himself agreed.

Yes, some clones were colossal failures. These were also abandoned projects he later had to deal with.

My point is he can amp a clone to greatly surpass himself and the person the dna was taken from.

Omega was in no way more powerful than Galactus. That was just stupid and bull. They were trying to hype up the story/ending.

Omega had no reflexes, and was retarded.
A single `herald my rage` blast should suffice

And when has Genis met a well-fed Galactus?

Read the History part and you will see that thanos wanted to test the strength and reliability of possible foes or allies when he made those clones. He wanted knowledge of them in case he had to fight them or they join him. Know your possible foe is one of thanos trademarks. He wanted to know how strong gladiator was, not improve anything. Why do you think he made that clone dumb?.. Something that strong and smart?.. Thanos is no fool.

Hahaha, quan is so fail in this thread.

Omega wasn't as formidable and had obvious flaws but was still more powerful than Galactus. This is another example of people not wanting to accept what the writer had two characters tell us.

Genis had ca which meant he knew. We don't see everything these characters do.

I think he mixed his dna with Glads and made a warrior far stronger than his original self and Gladiator himself.

Another comment with nothing at all to do with the thread itself. I'm shocked.

My comment specifically had to do with this thread and your failings in it; especially the last couple of pages. Props for reaffirming your illiteracy.

Now, I know that you don't actually read comics and just troll several boards in favor of in one company gathering and recycling other poster's arguments for personal use after adding your own touch of fail to the mix. However, what find hilarious, is that despite your great love affair with Thanos, you haven't even read the whole 8 comics that he has been in.

If you had read his comics, you would have easily been able to make an argument based off of the material provided in said book. I'll just go ahead and do that for you.

One:

And Two:

You gotta do the cooking by the book.

I'm sorry to say this quan but Spire owned you (even though I tend to never agree with him).

Honestly, I dont think Glads strength wise is above Thanos. I cant see Glads pimp slapping surfer, koing him. I cant see glads taking Thor out physically like Thanos has done in the past with a pimp slap or pimp slapping the hulk like thanos did, one shotting him.

Now with Gladiator strength, its still kind of hard to gauge since he basically doesnt have a cap on his strength due to his confidense but again, Thanos has proven that his strength vs high heralds is>> with just a back hand.

Now if we're talking about the other 3 (Surfer/Supes/and Thor), I think Glads has them beat by miles since he does have the feats proving this (moving planets under his own power/crushing planet/one handing the baxter building, moving an asteroid like nothing that was blocking a starship lane/about to punch cannonball from the earth to the moon/picking up a ship that is the size of texas and flying away with it at blind speed/etc....) . Hitting power, no high herald compares to Thanos, not even close.

those are the best feats he has?

I disagree with the the assessment that Glads is "miles" beyond the other three High Heralds. Team wins though, imo.

Not miles but he is stronger IMO and more durable, also IMO but comparing him to Thanos isnt a good idea.
