Not the best feats but its something that neither of the other 3 has shown to be able to do physically without some kind of guessing game on how much they were lifting/pulling.
What I stated is actually shown on paper and gives a guage on that persons strength without playing the guessing game (guessing how much that person is moving etc....).

lifting a building isn't impressive full stop.
did they actually give the weight of the building?
and planet busting isn't the be all and end all of strength feats.
Originally posted by carver9Well, its debatable between thanos and gladiator as to who is stronger... But thanos himself had to get warlock to use warriors/gladiator powers to defeat omega ( the galactus clone ). But as for the other three.. You are right.. Gladiator is far stronger and does not need a ton of feats to prove it.
Honestly, I dont think Glads strength wise is above Thanos. I cant see Glads pimp slapping surfer, koing him. I cant see glads taking Thor out physically like Thanos has done in the past with a pimp slap or pimp slapping the hulk like thanos did, one shotting him.Now with Gladiator strength, its still kind of hard to gauge since he basically doesnt have a cap on his strength due to his confidense but again, Thanos has proven that his strength vs high heralds is>> with just a back hand.
Now if we're talking about the other 3 (Surfer/Supes/and Thor), I think Glads has them beat by miles since he does have the feats proving this (moving planets under his own power/crushing planet/one handing the baxter building, moving an asteroid like nothing that was blocking a starship lane/about to punch cannonball from the earth to the moon/picking up a ship that is the size of texas and flying away with it at blind speed/etc....) . Hitting power, no high herald compares to Thanos, not even close.

He wasnt using the aid of flight when he lifted the baxter building. No one on glads team has that luxury of showing a strength feat with them actually standing on there feats doing it.
The building IS the tallest building in New York.
Planet busting? Come on, no one on Glads team has a feat showing that they could even level a moon under their own strength (besides Thor).

It is debatable since reed, xavier, nova, and the shiar stated that Gladiator has limitless strength (no cap) but him performing the feats (pimp slap) that Thanos has done on panel to high heralds, cant see it happening.

can you prove that flight boosts strength to any definitive level?
so? mountains tend to weigh more than most buildings.
so thor does. superman does too. it's called deduction.

Superman said this a while back and there is nothing proving that his own words has changed (flight aid with strength).
I agree, mountains does weigh more than building but again, glads was standing on his two feet when he lift that building and none of his partners has that credibility.
We have discussed this a thousand times Raoul and I dont think we will ever come to a conclusion. Everything I bring up to you, you throw it out of the window as a low showing. The only thing I'm going to say is look at Supes recent moon feats and that alone should explain to you why he doesnt have moon busting strength. Even thor is kind of debatable since he had the odin force when he busted open the moon.

he didn't. it's one ambiguous scan. but in case you're not convinced:
and that's John Byrne Superman, who is the WEAKEST Post Crisis Superman.
As i said, a building aint impressive.
really? so the scans above don't count?
if you stopped posting low showings, i wouldn't call them low showings.
you pick an ambigous moon feat from JLA and completely forget the context of the new krypton one just so you can claim he couldn't destroy a moon, even though his strength feats of the last decade (including the last five years) say he can.
but they don't count because he just happens to use his flight, right?
one ambigous scan from the john byrne era (irony ftw) =/= proof.
also, in the John Byrne era, Superman's powers were all powered by his willpower as much as anything else, which just throws more doubt on it. but, you know...
Originally posted by the ninjakTyrant could not make gladiator lose confidence.. It takes somebody like spiderman walking through his heatvision to do that.
Thanos is easily capable of creating doubt in Gladiators' confidence. It's just the other 3 wouldn't give him time to.
But he can teleport and take them down one at a time....
but retreating counts as a loss.
But that's exactly what Thanos would do.

Nice scan. Now go ahead and show me that moon busting feat besides the one where he's flying through the moon (saturns moon).
By the way, there is two recent moon feats from Superman.

Yes cannonball.. Who by all means should have been killed by that punch, but lived because of a trickplay unknown to gladiator.
Thanos is such a mystery....
But do you really think he wouldn't have Kinetic absorbing or phasing tech?
He took cosmic energy at close range!
Gladiator is the weakest here, the second he doubts himself BAM.

Prove to us that Thanos can absorb kinetic energy.
How about you look at all the times Gladiator lost confidence and look at the reason why.
It has only been TWICE and one of the times was when REED RICHARDS was taking city level destroying punches REED F***** RICHARDS. The second time was when cannonball, CANNONBALL, absorbed his punch.
Two weaklings taking punches that should outright kill them.
Now do you see why he lost his confidence? Any sane person would be in doubt over a situation like that unless you are basically implying that reed and cannonball=Thanos threat wise.
