Prove to us that Thanos can absorb kinetic energy. How about you look at all the times Gladiator lost confidence and look at the reason why.
It has only been TWICE and one of the times was when REED RICHARDS was taking city level destroying punches REED F***** RICHARDS. The second time was when cannonball, CANNONBALL, absorbed his punch.
Two weaklings taking punches that should outright kill them.
Now do you see why he lost his confidence? Any sane person would be in doubt over a situation like that unless you are basically implying that reed and cannonball=Thanos threat wise.
Taking blast from SS
Power Cosmic >>>> kinetic energy

The others wouldn't let him.
I agree, Thanos would stomp Gladiator and easily at that but Gladiator losing confidence against him, naah, not happening.
Can you put up a scan of Gladiator losing confidence against a high herald or someone more powerful?

SS looked pretty spooked when his strike failed.

Gladiator is a warrior, a highly skilled warrior that is feared across the universe.. Thats a lot of unknown butts he has kicked to get that status. Making him doubt himself is nothing like you make it out to be.. If anything, thanos might be facing the unseen fully confident gladiator that lurks inside.

However confident Gladiator is that day is up to Gladiator. But regardless the issue when Sam punches Gladiator into the ground is my favourite Cannonball issue ever, and I consider it canon when leveling him against a character who is as accomplished and sneaky as Thanos.

To me, it doesn't really matter if he losses confidence or not. I don't think that is the be all end all of this fight. He could remain confident and still take out Glads any number of ways.
Once Gladiator is phased there is a whole array of options Thanos has to send something through his brain and finish him for good!

When SS attacked Thanos on his crazy throne with a full blast if Cosmic Energy, Thanos just mocked him.
OOOOKKKKAAAAYYYY, I know this and I have already said this at least 3 times, Thanos is winning this fight. He has the power to one shot anyone in this battle with Thor being the last man standing (possibly gladiator).

I agree, I never said anything different than this.
Read my above post.
He one shot him just like he'll one shot every one else (except Thor).

Same absorbed the punch just like when Sam was fighting the FURY and held his own, absorbing all of its energy blast and punches and giving it back to it.
Sam has some high showings (he fought the fury) and he has some amazing powers, he just doesnt know how to use all of that potential.

i mentioned both.why doesn't the saturn one count?
Because Superman flew through the moon. Thats more of a durability feat.
Thats like me using Hyperion feat of him flying through a sun making it go Supernova, claiming him as being a person that could punch suns to oblivion.
Come on raoul, flying through something doesnt=strength.
If Superman punched it, then it would have been a different story.
Wonderman has flown through earths crust, is he a planet destroyer now?
