Well, we see Wanda state why would you let him go in and then they explain how Thor stamped his hammer while being fully powered and the events that led him to go to the Hulk.Common sense explains it when you read the issue and factor in their history that he would need to be at full power to battle the Hulk. Even at full power he has never managed to ko the Hulk for good and likewise for the Hulk. This fight is one of the best in comics.
It was a shoddy explanation in Thor, but even prior to that it's obvious he was powered up.
Also, when he started losing his powers and woke up in the park he either had zero powers or them all back. Prior to he was weakened by the tree, but for all intents and purposes he was at full power for their fight like I claimed. It also makes complete sense when you look at their previous fights.
I'll continue this through PM.

it's a hell no actually, thanos can stick a target on his chin and close his eyes and it still won't give superman the win.
If Thanos gives Superman a free hit then he loses easily everytime.
Remember this is a forum fight and not a comic one. This battle will not go as it would in an actual comic.

Than, the PIS factor is removed, and so is the only one hope of Sups to earn half of a chance to win.

Before AN it was always clear that Darkseid was stronger and overall more powerful than Superman.

In their first chronological meeting Post Crisis Darkseid punked him with a casual hand blast and embarrassed him in front of a bunch of people who thought Superman was a God.
Hm.
I seem to recall the Apocalypse Now fight taking place more than a decade later, against a Superman who has become and was portrayed as vastly more powerful.
Butmaybethatsjustmybadmemory!
Also, seeing double-standards always makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.
You question the validity of Superman's victory (and constant portrayal of at least a peer for quite some time) by using Darkseid's more-than-a-decade sooner one.

Wrong.Yes, Darkseid was portrayed as superior to Byrne-era Superman.

So then, you feel Supes beats DS or Thanos for a majority?

Yeah I believe Superman wins in a comic but in an arena setting he loses 9/10. Just like Darkseid really, Superman shouldn't be able to beat Darkseid but he does because its DC comics and he's their Golden Boy.
Actually Superman has gotten a lot stronger. Even darkseid himself mentions it here:
