Thor's Godblast vs Superman's most powerfull HV shot

I think you are right, originally I responded to him, just to be polite, but honestly trying to convince him what is a shared feat vs what is not, is kind of pointless especially with him. I think the OP got his answer, he was asking for what has been done on that level and it was shown, Virgin can cry foul all he wants, but the OP got his answer.

Oh and I don't think He will mind, me calling him virgin, I'm just doing it for fun, not to insult him.

Thor's godblast against galactus was later retconned as Thor calling upon the power of Odin

Unfortunately, the God Blast was repeated soon after, and was once again defined as Thor tapping into his own Godly life force.

And besides, even if it was him calling onto the power of Odin somehow, it really wouldn't change anything practically.

Every single instance of the godblast is him calling on his godly energies. That's the point of the godblast.

Godblast wasn't even mentioned in the retcon, it was just Odin's energies apparently.

Worst case scenario, the power origin of the God Blast was retconned into being a part of the actual Odin Force (I'm not going to assume some other attack that was never mentioned or hinted at happened). Unfortunately, the God Blast has been used since and has once again been specified as being Thor's life force.

In the end, it doesn't matter if you consider it Odin's power or Thor's power primarily, the feats are still there. The origin of the power is irrelevant as long as it can be summoned.

Final statement? Says who? You? That would require warping logic to suit your interpretation specifically.

Don't bother, the only way his interpretation works is if we assume the God Blast was never even used in his fight with Galactus but some other completely unknown shit that can be defined as the power of Odin and is not in anyway applicable to Thor or re-retconned by future showings.

Why you ask would someone take such a retarded stance? Because it's the only way to nullify the feat. Also, Superman.

Sounds about right. wtf would Thor use to suddenly call on a massive surge of power from Odin like that anyway?
