I was going over certain Thanos appearances, and in Annihilation, he just wasn't that impressive. Please people go back through that series, and rate Thanos from the writers perspective, and not from a fans perspective. Thanos is tough, but against a true powerhouse he would need to rely very heavily on tech, and that makes the Hulk his physical superior.

Naah, Hulk busting through Onslaught, someone who the sitters compared to a Celestials beats the Tyrant ft.
Thanos made a weaker version of Hulk look weak. The same Hulk that got stalemated by Wendigo in a contest of strength. We seen what happened to Wendigo who had a planet full of partners.

Yeah. Striking power, I even think Hulk has him beat durability wise (even though that would be difficult to prove because we can't quantify how powerful the attacks were that Thanos withstood in his fights)...and taking blunt force attacks as well.

Onslaught also held the entire planet captive and had major villians in fear and took on every hero on the planet and was winning. That alone puts him around skyfather. Odin didn't use a fraction of his power against Thanos.
Marvel isn't physically on Hulks level and there is no proof that he is even on Colossus level so Thanos over powrlering him isn't as impressive as you are making it.
