Ok, Con's instincts have told him to go to an apparently non-descript Fighter, whilst's Gallador's have gone for one of the Loners.

"Really, what kind of beauty, did you go after the wrong person's woman?"

"The chieftian's daughter," he says/

"Hmm, do you wish to give more details?"

"Understandable, at least tell us what was your profession before and what was the Cheiftan's name?"

"Who are you and how did went up here?" Gallador asks the Loner that Force told him to bet on, after introducing himself.

Unfortunately, a force bet is a last moment thing, just before they are off the line.

Should we be choosing what part of the course we are going to position ourselves in order to do awful things to these poor Epireans?

You can have quick words with anyone you like.

The race is starting imminently! I shal be making rolls for the competitors.

What you guys do is up to you. You can race alongswide them- you are much more cofortable running around the mountain than they are as the air is more to your liking, though I'll still make rolls- to see how they are doing. Your Epirean guards are at the lower levels of the mountain and will kinda oversee things, though the literal security perimeter isn;t guarded by anyone atr all excet yourselves; it is more a place of camera observation etc. You don't like actually having people near you.

Or you could take a spectator view at any point along the course, or in your base.

Or you could stay down by the grater and wait for the runners to return.

Or discuss the situation with Firak and co.

Or bugger off from the race entirely, and take a ship down to visit somewhere nearby.

Or arrange to cheat horribly, in which case you should tell me by PM.

The first leg is very simple- up the mountain, the same route you guys took a few years back.

What stat do we roll off of to make the run? Agility I'm assuming.

Strength.

Ah, for endurance. In that case, Galder is going to make the run up the mountain with the Epireans, intending not to stray too far from Trogan.

Gallador will go around the perimeter, looking for the trace of that runner that escaped.
