Looking through our newly arrived friends' Merits, we've got some fantastic stuff for getting in with the pirates!
Xeth has his experience with Shareth, obviously, and his conspiracy theory friends on Taloraan. Could be helpful procuring better fake identities and background? I feel like that's something they did for Xeth at some point.
One of Wentar's Contacts was a former pirate and now a smuggler, exactly what we need, really.
Jovan's a Savoir-Faire master, we can use that for sure. Good to have another Scholar around!
And then the rest of you can help with our stuff. The more the merrier.

"Master Vera-Kin," Wentar says, when he finally get in contact with the wandering Master. "Xeth's found us a new job. Helping the Jedi dismantle a pirate organization known as the Red Lance on Estalia. You interested?"
(Awesome, the cavalry arrived! Feel free to redirect Andro to another task if someone thinks it better. Looks like there are a few MUCH better-suited people for pirate impersonators. At least when it comes to worming our way in, once in, I think Andro would actually make a good pirate. How many people we looking to get 'in'? We might have enough now for a few teams of pirates, in different assignents to spread out. We could work a few angles at once that was and pull in more info faster.)
Vlad takes off his Jedi robe, revealing the regular Jedi raiments below as well as his "Brain tails" which were tightly wrapped in leather. Any Twi'lek would wince at the thought of them being pulled on, and he wasn't about to give his enemies any motivation during battle. He sat down in a chair nearby and leaned his elbows on his knees, supporting his head.
"I propose we don't wait for Xeth to come here and begin reaching our contacts while he is on his way. I think it would be a good plan to have more than or group to try to get inside. Perhaps one group can show themselves as mercenaries greedy for more credits and violance, and the other group be a few slaves who's owner suffered a disaster and passed away. There's noone better for the pirates to hire for low pay other than slaves. They have no friends, contacts, background or homeworld and would be least likely leak any information about the pirates to anyone."
"Very well," Wentar replies, ending the transmission.

So I know Jelena would like me to make contact with my ex-pirate contact... I'd have to go back an re read things to figure out what they want from him.
Haven't the Jedi already established a presence in Hutt space as people wanting 'in'? Wouldn't it be suspicions for a bunch of us Renegades to show up suddenly?
"The problem we have encountered is that the Red Lance is not generally seeking to induct new members," Gallagher says. "Instead, recommendations for new members are given to Pelloran, and he makes his decision based on that. We are trying to find a way to get Jelena and Andro in... the Renegades may help with that."

Xeth- get in touch with your Contact Gralus on Taloraan to see if they can help procure more authentic fake identities for us. You may have to meet with Shareth, but we might put that off until we have other routes in. Don't want her getting angry and telling Pelloran.
Wentar- get in touch with your Contact Loj'oon and see if you can convince him to see employment with Shareth's discrete shipping company, and if he knows anything we can use, being a former pirate himself and now a smuggler.
Jovan, Vlad, Denzral, Vera-Kin- I want you four to be our interrogators. Jelena's Padawan, Essallin Beche, has noticed a trend with survivors from the sites pirates have hit. There is always a person that lived on the hit planet, who has then moved away. I want you four to track them down and find out if they were involved with the pirates at all. We think they would be the insiders that the pirates are using.
We'll reassess Jelena's and Andro's situation after we've had some help.
Roan's CorSec Contact needs to do some more research on Shareth's shipping service and will get back to us.
Gallagher is going to stay on Estalia and coordinate everything, also talking with his Padawan.

That last bit was 'battle experienced,' which might honestly suit someone besides Jelena anyway. Denzral, for example, has piloting and combat skills. Or Roan.
It was two bits- you needed to have a record, AND a reference. Pelloran is paranoid. Looking the part was an addition.
Roan's security contacts can fake you a record (as can the Jedi, but the contacts can make it broader and hence better), but you had no way in on a reference.
As for the interrogations- you located one so far. If your task is to find more, that is separate. Perception/Observation to find relevant people from employee lists that have moved on and cannot be innocently explained. And weeks of work trawling through paperwork of course.
There was also the angle of trying to catch the pirates as the scout or try to hire local information. Other than assigning people to this task, you also need to narrow down how many planets you are checking, otherrwisde it is impractical.
Padawans can be assigned too.
Vlad has no contacts other than his strong ties to the council with Master Windu, and the only useful skill he has is pilot and fix it. He is, however, still highly useful in hand to hand combat or a blaster. I think for now Vlad shall set out to interrogate the suspicious insider we already uncovered.
