Now, as for beating, consider what he does when he needs to beat someone else ultra-uber- Eat mega-uber flame or other magic. Dragon slayers can amp like crazy.

I think Natsu has a chance to win his current fight. It's small, but he has a chance, especially because this is the first time Natsu has been so pissed off that he was shaking (the "fear" explanation isn't cutting it. He was just really pissed off.)

It didn't seem like his way was realized, though. Just that Natsu got pissed and defeated someone....again.
This time, though, Natsu used his head. The "win" doesn't make sense, though, but that is okay because it's "magic" and Mashima can make up anything he wants for his make believe world.
