Wendy's kinda interesting. Her combat skills have improved since we first met her, but she's not going to beat anyone except *maybe* a Quattro Puppy or Ichiya. She might be able to do ok in one of the skill challenges, but if there's ever a multi-participant event she'll let her partner do great.
Could also give a FT B member a win.

Personally I suspect Laxus is stronger when he pushes himself in dragon force mode (which he might not do in a tourney), but in terms of elemental control, Jura must be to Earth what Laxus is to Lightning.

I can't see him losing. Maybe drawing, but only against a very powerful foe.

My prediction? He fights someone from Raventail, who cheats and puts him at a major disadvantage, and despite that he manages to recover and get at *least* a draw.

He does have 5 in both offense and defense. Though is on the slow side.

Dunno, but you know how he has an odd habit of trying to eat other people's magic? I.e. they said he once tried to eat Laxus's lightning before, and then there's the time he ate etherion. I think that, combined with Laxus purposefully giving him so much power, did it. So probably not only a dragon slayer thing, but a dragon slayer thing that requires a lot of 'training' and sickening failure first.
And even for Natsu it's not easy. Remember that he tired out fast using it against Max in training.

However, knowing Erza's last showing, Erza is on par with Jura.
Erza is at or above "10 Wizard Saint" levels of power. I want to see Laxus and Erza fight. 🙂 I think I will get my wish in this tourny.

This could give a major boost to Natsu, or another that tries, if he gets more dragon magic in him. I find it strange and sorta cheap, despite how much effort it takes, that a characters power can be transferred so easily though.

On par but Jura is likely still above her. But yes, seeing those two champs go at it may be the highlight of these rounds.
