I know she's only recently regained use of her powers but Mira's still an S class mage. I knew she'd win but one-shotting the girl just made the whole fight seem like a waste; even Lucy had a better fight.

Let's not forget what her big move did to a significantly more badass person during her reawakening. One-shot is honestly what I'd expect with her vs most foes.

True but Mira could've one-shot her anytime though...making the modelling competion a complete waste of time.

Well, it was mainly there for humor, making you think it's one thing then doing a swerve. It's only half a chapter.

Btw, I'm re-reading some of the early chapters and- this is definitely more OP-y than it became/I remember! A lot more overly exaggerated expressions, how the characters were drawn was a bit different.

Mashima definitely shifted over time, aiming for a bit more realistic.

Meh...still felt wasted and we could've gotten to Pandemonium much sooner if it wasn't there.

Yeah I noticed that there are a lot less OP moments in Fairy Tale now. Though chest inflation is ever present: such as the case of Ultear.

At least FT has a variety of body types, like Levy.

Lisanna would've been a better fit for a comparison IMO

Lisanna, Levy. Heck, I like that the FT girls don't have the extremely thin waists that all the OP women do.

<3 Fairy Tail. I'm up to the s-class exam island arc. Laxus better come back to kick some ass. Sort of miss that bully.

We can always hope, he'll probably show up sooner or later.

Hooray, Sheila wasn't evil after al, or at least wasn't the origin point for whatever evil Gerald found.Also my wish came true in that both Wendy and Sheila tied. Both were too cute and adorable to loose so I'm glad this happened. Also Gerald is found out by that counsil guy

Overall I say this was a good chapter even though it was rather short

Where they're going with Jellal is interesting. They had him come out heroic, but there's a lot of baggage hanging over his head.

A draw doesn't surprise me in the results, though I'm somewhat surprised Wendy didn't learn how to eat godwind like Natsu did godfire, but Natsu seems to be actively better at eating magic than any other dragon slayer thanks to all his practice with weird stuff.

Laxus is boss.

👆 I like how FT handles power levels and how it gives everyone time to shine without making other characters look bad.

Relatively flat power levels do make more more interesting fight series in general, IMO.
