^ That's true.lol She can be pretty boss when she's in love power mode. Still think she has the best chance of losing when compared to the rest of the powerhouses on the team. Or, they could just all win since this seems to be Fairy Tail's redemption for lapse in power with the powerhouses gone.

At the beginning of the manga, didn't she get punked by that wind dude? The one that Natsu ended up defeating.

Also, I could see that Juura guy beating her, or that time magic girl. maybe even the strongest member of the mermaid guil that she seemed worried about.

She cleared the tower with 100 monsters that included an S class monster that is comparable to a Saint mage.

She got poisoned by Cobra but after being healed, proceeded to beating the crap out of Orasion Seis strongest member, Midnight

Getting tricked doesn't equate to losing in a straight on fight

Eragor erected a wind barrier then ran away.

She was standing up to Jose too, and that was during the first few arcs.

Next to Natsu, Erza has the most "nakama instant power up you win button".

Case in point, she was already totally drained and losing like no ones business against Azuma but suddenly found some extra added energy and kicked his ass.

No way's Erza loosing to anyone and that makes it lame.

I think time/space magick girl (forget her name) could take her. She could turn all her equipment to rust or something.

This is how I wish the fights turn out

Gajeel - win
Juvia - win
Erza - loss
Laxus - undecided - maybe having him lose if it means showing off the power of the new big bad. He will probably lose though. Soloing Raven tail is still too much lol.

At least Grey got a clean win. He kind of needs wins like this because it feels like his stock has lowered each time new/more powerful FT member is introduced.

Even better: it was monster than even "most" Wizard Saints would have difficulty beating.

Like who? I really only see Gazille being stronger of the new members who have joined. Juuvia was beaten by gray a while ago and Wendy would lose to Gray imo. Lucy would get annihilated. hell, I think that Gazille could possibly lose to Gray. Mistgun, Laxus and Gildartz don't count since they were introduced as much stronger from the get go.

Edit I see so you automatically exclude them. I didn't mean "Chars who have grown stronger than Grey" Just characters that once introduced lower his stock. *shrug*

Anyways Grey got the win and thats all that matters. IMO what he really needs is a match with one of Fairy Tail's top tiers.

I excluded them because they were already known to be stronger than Natsu and Gray irrc. Even Mirajane was mentioned to be extremely powerful before she thought her sister died. I believe Erza had hinted at most of these people being stronger when she was introduced.

I don't see how is stock has lowered though. It's pretty much right where it has been, right at or just below Natsu's. Like I said, I think he even has a shot at beating Gajeel.

I agree that it was good for him to get a win, and against a strong opponent, but going against an S class FT mage is a bit much. I don't think he can beat the top tier right now. If Natsu can't then how would Gray?

Wasn't he always? That's where Natsu and Gray started. Pretty much the strongest of the non S classes. All save for Cana and the Laxxus roadies are S classes.

Also, I thought Gray did handle one of the Lightning tribe guys the second time around.

Mirajane and Laxus, sure... but Lightning Tribe? Cana (who *only* has FG when it's lent to her, and it's only one attack)? Even Gajeel? Not sure on those.

Gray's beaten two very tough foes recently, Ultear and Rufus. He got Second Origin. He's pretty badass.

So...Minerva discovered the secret of friendship powahs? Oh and I'm still laughing at the fact that Jinemba actually got taken out by Sting.
