Yea, Rufus seemed legitimately strong, but Grey came up with a good counter-strategy (and who non-FT would think that Fire is *not* a good idea to use against him?).

Mm, I wouldn't say that. If some of the other high-end ones weaken each other, and Minerva can really carry her weight...

It's still horrible when a team's second strongest looses to Grey. Especialy with Erza and Laxus running around.

Not due to him being particularly weaker than Gray, mind, just because of how things worked out.

And it's not like we didn't know Sting and Rogue's strength isn't going to be enough to turn the tide, after their last fight.

Plus, Ogra's a question mark. He could be the real #2.

Anyway, how about a guessing game? Which Fairy Tail loses? Grey already won, Erza will most likely get a "nakama" power up, So will Gajeel since you know, like on tenerwhatever island, he got one. Juvia also got a "I love Grey" power up then, so I'm almost positive she'll get one too. Only one left is Laxus, and his win against Raven tail isn't a "i love my friends" power up but for of a he's just damn stronger than all of them combined.... soooooo....

my money is on Laxus losing 😛

I'm betting on Gajeel to lose. I think the Dragon Slayer duo will, to show how much more serious and driven they are, manage to defeat him.

I doubt it. I don't think he would get snubbed twice (the natsu/gazille tag team match). I would think Juvia loses out of the lineup.
